I am visiting this fall. This is a GREAT old video. Thanks for putting this up. Just dark and vintage enough to be semi creepy. Think of all the poor people that had to die there.

I read the same thing. I heard that they put a rubber bag into the lungs and let some air in. There were very atrocious procedures.

This puts a different light on the place. Makes it look less creepy. But it is just media, I mean the crypts and the death tunnel and all that must of being sad and gave a really dark feeling. But it looks like not all of the building was death. I guess that's why it isn't considered one of the MOST creepiest places out there.
@SOLOVEFUCKINGmuz13 жыл бұрын
Nothing is frightening by the narrator's voice, of course if your are a strong believer that the place is now hauted, and if you'll go there, then maybe yes, it's scary but that's only because your mind is affected.

And it's that graffiti and vandalism that caused the place to become so dilapidated. There were pictures taken of it in 1990 before the place got horribly vandalized, and it actually was in very good shape. Now they're spending god knows how much trying to restore it little by little because of people that did things like vandalize. Nothing good came of it other than making it look creepy as a result of immature children.

if your thinking of a mental asylum, then no. Sanatorium originally meant a hospital for a long term-illness, in this case TB. Today with so many illnesses explained and the advancement of medicine, mental issues are what seen now as most long-term, and thus the use of sanatorium became linked with mental institutions.

Sadly though, unless you've had a bit of education on Waverly Hills, the movie fucking blows because they don't give you the little bit of information that parts of the movie are based off of things that have been documented as having happened. It all just comes across as fuckin' random ghost encounters by a bunch of stupid kids trying to make their own version of a reality show each year.
