As to Shane's "chattiness" in the first scene where you described it as being due to a possible unconscious reaction to the humming, they have mentioned quite a lot that these shoots take upwards of 15 minutes where they're just 100% silent. There are a lot of bloopers that get cut because nothing happens and they're just quiet, and some of that "chattiness" may be attributed to Shane filling the void, as you have said, since they are content creators. Good video!

I love these guys. They recently said in a Ghost Files Debrief that some of the owners of the places they go to DON'T like the videos because almost nothing happens in them so they don't look haunted. I actually have a spreadsheet of all their videos from both Buzzfeed Unsolved and Ghost Files, ranking them on whether or not they seem haunted. If you want a video FILLED with action, I recommend the last one they did with Buzzfeed Unsolved. They went back to the Sallie House and the Sallie House never disappoints.

there is currently a Sam and Colby video from their “The Conjuring House” series that is breaking the internet. Two of their friends claim that when they hold hands/make physical contact they are able to communicate with the dead through audible knocks. Their method is sparking a lot of controversy, especially due to the fact that their readings contain a lot of emotional topics and topics that could break history regarding the after life. If you could observe these two individuals "Cody and Satori" and let us know what you think it would be appreciated!

that moment in the morgue with the humming as well as a moment in Alcatraz are I feel like two of the strongest responses the boys have ever gotten, and both seemed to seriously unnerve Shane as well. saw someone recommending Sam and Colby, Celina and Kris' series would also be very interesting to analyze too, particularly to recent one to Salem

Hinsdale was interesting but I honestly think the one prior at the Dyuck House was better. Ryan had a pretty interesting Spirit Box session. It's weird that at Hinsdale, no one went back to Mike's room on the solos. That's probably where they got the best evidence.

Shane under sensory deprivation during the Estes Method is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Cuz I personally understand that with audio, especially with something obscuring your hearing, there’s a learning curve with understanding that you don’t need to hear yourself speaking for others to hear you, hence the yelling or speaking louder than normal with headphones or some kind of monitor in your ear (I understand this from the perspective of a musician on stage both playing guitar and singing, it can be awkward). Shane just said “f that noise” and I wouldn’t be surprised if you could hear him from outside the building lmao. His voice is cracking and everything. And like I said with the learning curve, but he makes no effort to adjust the volume of his voice, and I know he’s been told by Ryan that he’s screaming the responses, but he doesn’t care at all and something about that I find absolutely hilarious and laugh so hard when he gives the responses. Also, I think these guys are one of the VERY FEW completely legit paranormal investigator teams that share “evidence” on a platform, along with maybe GhostTech Paranormal, Ouija Brothers, Overnight (TFIL), MAYBE Paranormal Files before he became an alcoholic drug addict (no shade towards anyone suffering from this, I was an addict…so I know they’re impossible to trust, so again no shade, just don’t have a KZbin channel highly centered around “taking your word for it” regarding legitimate evidence of something.) sorry I’m drifting, I have ADD I can’t help it. I’m also a paranormal investigating hobbyist. I’ve been to that place, I can say…the thing that kept happening to me there was that even though it’s now abandoned of almost all material things and just the walls remain, as you walk through it, I kept slipping into a feeling of being in an occupied building, expecting to see others at many turns and rooms, many quick flashes of this but a few longer instances, the longest lasting nearly 12 seconds. Never had that happen ever in my life and it’s not really a specific claim for there. I hit 3 spots in KY, this place, Trans-Allegheny and Bobby Mackies, which was the biggest disappointment…as literally NOTHING happened. In the two other places, I felt the sensation of static electricity very out of place and saw movement of shadows with others to validate, one of them being VERY close and also…free-standing…? Like not on a surface. Ever since I’ve been studying the anomalies of light to find out how that can happen. Apparently it can’t. So yeah, basically that place…haunted af. This is way too long…why do I do this?

Hey Logan, have you ever looked into behavior analysis with neurodivergent people? For example, im ND and i have really bad social anxiety, so my heart rate is usually above 120 if im in public, i also sweat profusely. I cant do eye contact because it makes me really uncomfortable, and i also fidget a lot and am never really fully still, even if you cant see me moving. So to neurotypical people im sure i seem guilty/bad, and im just curious if ND behavior analysis has really been done that youre aware of? Thanks!

I'm not a behavioral analyst by trade, but I think that would be a matter of baseline. Everyone is unique in their speech and mannerisms and you really need to understand a person's baseline behavior to be more accurate in reading their body language. Once you understand how they act usually, then you can accurately pick out behaviors that aren't normal for their baseline that might be a tell.

A rempod (the device you’re talking about at 22:40) only goes off with super close proximity, you can set it to go off when it feels energy/touch a few inches away up until the antenna, but it’s only a few inches like 0-5” maybe? There’s different beeps & lights that tell you if it’s sensing touch, temper change, direction of touch, etc. essentially you have to be like right up on it to make it go off.

I love Shane and Ryan. I have been to Waverly Hills twice. The last time I got suckered into going with my roommate for an overnight there. We had just explored Mammoth Caves and I was exhausted. I found a broken down, pitch black stairwell to sleep in while people annoyed me running around scaring themselves. I believe in the supernatural. I have seen and heard a ghost who lived in an old house I used to rent. I wasn’t the only person who heard and saw it. So, in my mind- if I got a great sleep on a broken staircase that an apparition had free rein to taunt me in- I am pretty sure it’s all good over there. Been twice, never saw anything scarier than the tour guide incessantly talking about her boyfriend on our dime.
