Waves And Whales: Exploring St. Vincent's Newfoundland

Come along with me as I travel from Carbonear to St. Vincent's-St. Stephen's-Peter's River, Southern Avalon Peninsula, Newfoundland. I enjoy the beautiful sunshine and scenery, spot some humpback whales, and go looking for pitcher plants!

Ok 2nd commenter from Texas...we live 45 miles from Waco, Texas! He are planning a trip to Newfoundland for summer 2024. Do you know about what day you visited St. Vincents?

If you're hoping to see whales, the best time to visit is in late June to early August! This particular video was posted July 3. Be forewarned that you are very likely to run into fog, so if you're planning on driving The Irish Loop, check the forecast and phone the places you're planning on visiting day of... you can leave on a sunny day and half an hour later run into fog haha! Also bringing a lunch is recommended as there's no restaurants within half an hour of St. Vincent's. There is a lovely bed and breakfast there called Whale Song B&B, haven't stayed there myself but heard good things about it. Best of luck and I hope you have a wonderful trip!
