the simplicity is inspirational...I was second guessing myself all the time when I did this like this, EFX wise....thanks

if you use this in combo with cla guitars or bass, whould you put this plug in first or second in the chain or on a seperate track. Same question of putting these into studio rack

CLA plugins sound great!! Very good plugins very useful some good ideas in it and very "tasty flavour". Therefore I don't use Pro Tools because I've discovered new DAWs like Presonus Studio One (V 2.6 lastly..) and first of all Cockos Reaper!! This last DAW is very very efficient and yes, with this DAW U can listen to your aux independently and mix the wet/dy signal just fine (lol) but the CLA does it well too!!!

Wow u don’t use protools?
@BeniZeBest20114 жыл бұрын
@@Str8SlapRec (6 years later....for me!!!) No I don't anymore because things have changed since...Not that PT isn't someway "better than another DAW" but at some point it is an expensive DAW and the production "market" has changed too!! Nowadays you can't make music as before ith a big studio or something!! You need other ways to plan it...And at some point Cockos Reaper is an alternative and efficient DAW even to make live perormances (yes-yes!!!).

Johnn BERNIMAN ok cool beans bro. I’m going to try out new daws then. I’ve been using protools for 6 years now. I mastered the daw. I’m just afraid of not knowing how to use the new daw. You know it’s all about knowing how to use what u have. I have a friend that records on samplitude 10. And his music sounds radio ready. And I also have another friend that records and makes beats on FL Studio lol. But they know what there doing when it comes to knowing the daw from front to back. To get the sound they need and want.

I've tested the CLA Effects. It's definitely better than CLA Vocals. I've not tried the other CLA plugins... The CLA plugins I did use tend to pop and click on Cakewalk by Bandlab's. I'm guessing they don't like running 96khz? , My computer is CPU barely runs to 10% running any plugins, so it's not that nor memory. I've got plugins that use CPU much more aggressively. Plus, in Cakewalk, I can freeze plug-in tracks so can run more tracks using plugins. I don't know why, but the CLA plugins pop and click... Turn them off, no more pop and click. Anyhow, BREVERB 2 plug-in sounds much better than the CLA Vocals plug-in. I was really hoping for these CLA plugins to work a little magic, but :/

I've never had any issues running them in 96khz. Have you tried reaching out to their support?

@@LennonStephens I've tried increasing and updating the audio drivers, etc... In the end, I actually think it's a old Sonar plug-in called "Boost11".

I'll have to sit down again and try it out.

I'll delete this comment if I find out that it was boost11 plug-in causing the issue!

This is not a tutorial. It's just a sales pitch. I tried some of these and wasn't impressed with them at all. These ready-made and packaged plug-ins don't cut it for me. Some of them really suck.

Instead of duplicating the vocal and all couldn’t you just automate the plugin to only be active at certain points? Can you seriously not do that in Pro Tools?? If so that’s very sad.

The advantage being, if it's on its own track, it can be panned, effected, and mixed differently.
