Surprised you made it this far without running into a Saiga. BTW, the smuggler in Garbage sells almost every weapon attachment in the game. Though when I played, sometimes he wouldn't have a single one and I'd have to save and reload or go to sleep to refresh his inventory.

I always skipped the Saiga because its icon makes it look like another assault rifle, not a damn auto-shotgun. Once I learned what it was, I kept an upgraded one on me at all times.

Consistent issue with Stalker tbh. I record at a pretty ridiculously bit-rate for the resolution, the footage itself is pretty good. Then comes the compression during exporting. Still, I push a high bit-rate for it and the video comes out not too bad. Then KZbin gets it... and it's just a mess afterwards lol

Put hunting scope on that TOZ34 (no modification needed), you can buy the scope in garbage from smuggler. And start using slug or darts ammo. After this it is a best sniper rifle in game. It kills exoskeleton guy in one shot to head. If not second definetly yes. Only downside is you have only two shot😅. I play whole game with this as my primary wapon.

I've been anticipating you doing the Old Guard quest. I think probably the mod's biggest misstep is this whole questline, it was just so confusing and boring, and it just kept teleporting you everywhere. And none of its plot amounts to anything. And also no quest reward. This was the turning point in the mod where I stopped enjoying it for me, hopefully you'll have more fun than me. In my playthrough that cutscene at 10:22 was driving me up the wall it was so long, and nothing of value was being said for a good portion of it. I almost wish you kept it in for people to see how bad it was.

I'd recommend patching the game, that should fix the broken NPC and item titles/descriptions, alongside a bunch of other bugs. They're all uploaded to their MODDB page under "files". For some reason they don't have installation instructions up on MODDB like they do on the ap-pro site, so what you do is just download them all, and install them in order from 1.1 all the way to 1.4. Unpack the contents of each patch into the TrueStalker directory, replacing any files in the destination if it asks. Then start up the game and check to see if the version number matches the patch you installed. It's super easy but I figured I'd explain since all the instructions I've found are in Russian. Hope this is at least somewhat helpful, really enjoying the series so far.

Great mod but the gimick with losing your guns and being knocked out is being overused Its ok for certain moments but not every god damn time you start something
