Wavlink outdoor AX3000 AP install and review

In my video I install, configure, and review the WavLink AX3000 outdoor access point. This is a great option for those that need to extend their wireless network to outdoors. This kit includes all the necessary parts to install the AP to either a pole or a wall mount.

Will the Wavlink work with Tplink Deco units I already have in service

@@LD-mj3ue yes it will. I haven’t had any troubles with my deco systems and the wavlink AP. You won’t be able to manage the wavlink from the deco app but I haven’t found that to be an issue.

Can this device connect internet users in the being mounted outside

@@josephkelly1067 the AX3000 has powerful large antennas so it will provide coverage to the outer parts of the interior of a home. Your best option is to couple this outdoor AP with an indoor AP (or multiple AP’s) for maximum coverage.

@@josephkelly1067 yes, to the outer parts of the inside of the home. You should also use inside AP’s along with this outdoor unit.

@@matomerah for my property I did my testing at distances up to 100 meters and still maintained maximum internet speeds which is 300 mb down and 20 mb up for my connection. Anything in the way of line of site will attenuate the signal. Hope that helps.
