Hi there, is it working omni directional or is it a pointing antenna? Can you check behind the antenna if there is any connection and how far. Same with 90 degrees to the side :-). Thank you for your testing...

Hi. We do have a family that have a cabin behind the extender that connects to it. I will go back over probably next weekend and can get you data points and distances from 90 and 180 degrees.

Ok. I finally remembered to check. I had good signal for up to about 80 yards behind the extender. It’s not like in front of it but not bad.

Is this 650 easy to set up via the app or do i need to use a PC? I'm looking fir the range but want ease if "plug n play"
@useful.knowledgeАй бұрын
You’ll have to go online to setup the password but we just used the phone. Other than that it’s plug and play.

I don't have a clue about what you're doing, but do you think it would extend the range on Blink security cameras?
@useful.knowledge8 ай бұрын
Hi. If those that you have are WiFi enabled, then yes you could move them out up to over 100 yards and still have them work. You may still need power wherever you place them.

Thanks for the reply, I'll give it a shot.

These work great for line of site but if you have trees you're going to have issues.

Definitely. I recently had it loosen up a little and the unit was tilted about 5 degrees down. I was getting poor performance at the cabin. I tightened it up and now I’m back to full strength.

Does this replace internet that you have to subscribe and pay for?
@useful.knowledge8 ай бұрын
No, this uses the internet that you already have. With its strong wifi signal, you can be farther away from that main source.
