I remember it like yesterday, in my early 20's. Long lines, stations running out of gas, fights on those lines. It was horrible.

interesting. heard of the early 70s gas problems but didn't know about one at the close of the decade.

There weren't shortages everywhere, but prices pretty much went up all over..
