She is a profoundly gifted songwriter, who is also an epic singer and performer. But this Bon Iver collaboration is cellular in deep emotions.

IMO the Long Pond Studio Sessions are the best version of this album. I just think there's something about her live that is pure magic. With that in mind, I want to recommend 2 completely different types of performances: Don't Blame Me (live from Reputation Tour), and Death By a Thousand Cuts from the Lover in Paris concert. p.s. your children are quite cute.

In this same vein, PLEASE do Champagne Problems. It tells such a profound story as well, like a whole fucking movie in like 4 some odd minutes, the idea being one person proposes on the same night that the other planned on ending it. It’s heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time, a needle she threads so perfectly. People can shit on her sad music all they want, but when you’re really going through some shit, it’s the music you fucking NEED.

I think "the signs" a relationship is going south usually are expressed (either side/party) but, often not taken seriously & addressed. It's the "Why didn't you call me back?", "We never go out anymore" etc's that are the signs we tend to overlook rather than not see (til it's too late unfortunately.)💔

Idk how I missed this reaction to Taylor! I thought I’ve seen all of your reactions. You’re exactly right about the way we process things. It’s unfortunate but life would be too easy if everyone understood each other. This song is so beautiful and sad. Their voices harmonize perfectly together. My favorite song by her. Still. Even after TTPD - and that autobiographical album is EXTREMELY DEEP!! Thank you, as always for sharing your insights with us. Hugs to you and your adorable furbabies! ❤🐾

Okay.. loved hearing your opinion.. a couple things.. if you watch anything else from the folklore album please watch the long pond studio version including the interview before it because it gives a lot of context of what the song is about.. Bon Iver is amazing, you should see some of his stuff.. also.. Renegade is fabulous.. it's a song that taylor did with big red machine..

Sometimes you tell them there’s a problem and they ignore you. Then you tell them again and you’re accused of being a nag so you stop saying anything and check out of the relationship.

I agree with you. Communication is key and sometimes the "signs" can be overlooked which is why its always better to talk it out in a respectful manner. Great reaction. New subscriber :)

I’m fairly new to being a Swifty. But I have fallen in love with her story telling. Every single song she writes have layers of meaning.

Some of Blondie's best works imo are ones in which another artist actually begins. First two coming to mind would be End Game and The Last Time.

With my 2nd ex I was very vocal about the problems we were having in our relationship and I was trying to set healthy boundaries. It’s not that he didn’t realize what was going wrong. He knew exactly what was going wrong. He decided to ignore me and ignore my existence for our woman roommate who we had all gone to school with. I constantly asked him for the bare minimum, which I shouldn’t even had to do. I had to remind him who he was dating because he treated the woman roommate like she was his girlfriend and I was the third wheel when it was the other way around. He would verbally abuse me anytime I asked for attention while he was playing Fortnite. He’d constantly give her rides to the store and they started buying groceries together like they were a couple. I moved out at one point and then about a year later we were still dating but long distance I was hanging out with him in his room, which was my old room And I was so zoned out I didn’t realize he got up because I wanted to be quiet while he was playing Fortnite so he could focus because he can’t do two things at once. I snapped out of it and I go “wait where did he go?” I find him in her room and they’re watching anime together as if they can’t do that another day. I told him “that’s fucked up of you. I came down here to spend time with you we don’t live together, so why are you still hang out with her like right now when your attention should be on me”. It’s not that we don’t tell you guys and we’re so good at masking it, we do tell guys Problems that need to be fixed in the relationship and they don’t want to hear it. When we finally leave the men make us out to be the bad guy and say that we “cheated on them” but in reality we spent so much time trying to keep the relationship afloat and not sink to the bottom of the ocean. P.s sorry for the little trauma dump, but I had to give a personal example because I went through a very toxic roller coaster relationship with him, and I relate so heavily to the song because I experienced this I gave my ex so many signs. I practically wrote each sign on a brick and threw it at his head. I’m saying this metaphorically cause I didn’t actually throw a brick at his head.

Damn you went through a lot that you didn’t have to you are a strong women to try and still make it work even tho it was sinking. I hope you find someone worth your time and effort and gives you everything you ever wanted in life 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Advice from a woman married 27 years. If a woman says she is “fine”, she isn’t fine. Take her hand and sit down. Hugs go a long way too.

Taylor has also said that some songs have political references.
