Casual viewer but love the channel, are you going to do a run through of all the best products you would use on your car start to finish? My 10 year old tin of collinite just gave up and I’m massively out of touch with all these new products on the market, I wouldn’t even know where to start to give the car a proper go over and protect

Wife will calm down and let you back in the house at some point 😉 Do you prefer to use BHs touch on in a bucket during contact wash or as a spray sealant via a lance? If contact would you still follow up with something like TACs shinee wax or just move straight to drying

i dont tend to use spray and rinse or bucket wash. I see them as more mass market quick products that put a blank of film on the entire car. I like to use a machine applied sealant to finish mainly.

I've got a question not related to this video, but you are the man in the know for these sorts of things. Just seen an ad online for a 'turbodry plus' car dryer. Have you seen/heard of it and if so, any thoughts? looks interesting but then it could just be some cheaply made tat

you dont need any knowledge of detailing to know this. within about 2-3 seconds of any facebook ad for that product you know its complete crap. you know its a tiny business buying it from china and trying to sell it for 5 times the price you can buy it for on alibababbabababababa. Same with the miracle ceramic wash type facebook adverts. Selling you detail spray for 50 quid for 250ml. No different in principle to all the come men facebook groups that produce fake viral content like "on the tools" using actors. Some people watch it and think its real, but most normal people watch it and spot without 3-5 seconds its fake acting. The people that watch it and comment and think its real, have no hope they are a different generation thats grown up with fake content and social media and accept it all. I got swamped with people asking about all the facebook advertised ceramic sprays and it literally blew my mind how people genuinly thought it could worth buying.

i think they just mean excess film formation to the point where you can see it.

Neo is very hydrophobic when applied wet as with Gyeon wet coat. But you have to shake the bottle properly before because Neo separates a lot as soon as it says. Give Neo another chance and test Neo by putting it dry in one field and wet in one field and in the third dry first and then wet on it and you and the whole world will see. I have a 5l can with Neo.

Why would it be more hydrophobic by diluting it down with water? Makes no sense. Even wet coat application sealants work better if applied to dry paint all be it more difficult to use.

@henriksjolund8162 I don't though as it makes absolutely no sense for a product to become more concentrated (hydrophobic) when diluting it down with water. It's literally impossible.

@BrianW1612 Yes, but that's how it is. Neo is dead if you put it dry and full speed if you put it like Gyeon wet coat. Neo is made to be laid in the way you prefer and I prefer wet coat.
