Great video! We are starting our peach tree over because the bunnies killed our peach tree two winters ago, record snowfall here in South Dakota. I've heard with the tree spray schedule that the last spray before spring is the one you have to catch while the others just help, seems that worked for you guys. Might have to do the peach lemonade once we get peaches (Flat Wonderful) again. Garlic here still needs another week or two.

@8thcelisabeth Oh no! That's so sad to hear about your peach trees! I'm glad you're giving it another go. I think you're right about the spray schedule- it definitely worked out for us. And yes, the peach lemonade is amazing! We add a sage-infused simple syrup too just to make it a little more interesting, but it's delicious without that step too. Let me know if you give it a try!

The size of white onions that's amazing. I never seen garlic that big😊 where do I get a seed or how do I grow my garlic like that

@lyndysimpson1272 Thank you. We just grow garlic that we get from our local farmer's market or organic grocery store and try to plant the big/ medium sized cloves. We don't do anything special- I like to keep it really simple and easy. There's a video of me planting this exact garlic last Fall that details how I do it linked in the description of this video. You got this!

What a bounty - I bet the smell from the peaches was amazing! The garlic haul is wild. I'm gonna try growing them this year. Ive been hesitant bc of the curing process to grow sweet potatoes/garlic/onions. Its just so hot here and my garage is well over 100 degrees..not sure where to store/cure them. As for the baking - have you tried Smitten Kitchen's hand pie recipe? I love her pie crust. She has a Bourbon peach hand pie recipe that is delicious ( I sub in Dark Rum bc I'm Jamaican and thats a prerequisite 🤣)

@crasht1224 Yeah we have the same problem with heat in our garage. Setting them up on a ladder in the shade worked really well. And no, I haven't tried that hand pie recipe, but everything you just said has me drooling😂. I'll have to give it a shot. My go-to is Claire Saffitz of Dessert Person. She has a flaky crust that we love.

@@thegrownpath I just finished watching her carrot muffin w/cream cheese video. Its next on my bake list once it is cool enough to use the oven.
