Way of the Hunter: A Beginners guide.

From my perspective as someone who grew up hunting. Most weekends out you don't even see anything. You get a local topo map and you mark what you do see, next season you strategize and explore more areas. Sure in some parts of the world you can pull off the road and bag something within a few hours. Where I grew up in NH? It's all dense diciduous rainforest. You can go years without seeing anything. Be patient. This game is still easier than real life.

I am a newbie to this game and am free hunting as I don’t understand what’s going on yet, The main problem I have is that I am unable to unlock the extra rifles , scopes, calls or upgrades of the binoculars or anything despite accumulating 20000 points or coins, what do I have to do to unlock the extra weapons?

Many of the scopes and weapons are actually DLC there are no level blocks in Way of the the hunter. Some of them are free downloads, the remington weapons pack is free dlc I believe

I have got the Remington, but despite having over 20k points, all the other rifles, callers etc are locked, with the purchase or equip option greyed out! I did purchase a Steyr rifle in a DLC deal but cannot use it as I can’t find it anywhere..?

If you are choosing animal on Map what do you do when there are no indications whether you are in a Sleep,Drinking or Eating zone?

The best thing to do is to read the encyclopedia on the species and pay attention to that animals need zone times, feeding areas are generally located in open areas on hillsides etc, rest zones are in wooded/brushy areas. Be patient and explore!

I actually did not know about the jeep storage, this will help bc i’ve wanted to changed something but kept going back to lodge. LOL…Other info is great as well great job!
