LOL!! thank you. we weren't sure how well this episode would be received as it didn't have a whole lot of hardcore wheeling. we're so glad that you could appreciate it for what it was.

thank you. i'll be honest and say that we always have our doubts as to whether or not we're doing justice to what we saw or the experience that we had and we're glad to hear they have effected you in this way.

I just ordered my 2012 JK yesterday from the factory. All my friends (who drive two-door jeeps) tried to talk me out of an unlimited. But your videos have convinced me to get a 4-door. I love your videos, and will watch them repeatedly until my jeep comes in, and then will continue to watch them. Keep it up!

it's gorgeous up there and something that just about any JK can do stock. a must do trail for sure.

Breathtaking scenery, good music, this had to be one of your best videos yet. I always get the strongest feeling of wanderlust watching these. Every time I start my Jeep I just want to drive West.

I love how these videos aren't just some people with big jeeps running around the u.s. crawling over rocks, you've really done a fantastic job showcasing the actual people behind the jeeps as well. It definitely is a way of life, and you and Cindy capture it beautifully. I truly wish i was a part of your Wheeling family because everyone seems like simply good people. Maybe one day we'll see you on the trails. Cheers and I can't wait till the next vid :)

It really depends on what trails you hope to do as budget mods will not get you going on all of them. Having said that, rocker guards and tow points front and rear are a must. Recovery gear is a must. A 2.5" budget boost and 35" tires will get you going far.
@wayalife12 жыл бұрын
we've run fordyce and have been thinking about making a video out of our last run. unfortuantely, a lot of it was done in the dark so we've been thinking about doing a do over. the event you're referring to is sierra treks.

the object of the game was to have your co-driver pull line, hook it up and have the driver winch it past a designated point. participants are requred to follow winch safty protocal including the wearing of gloved and protection of line if steel rope is used. the trick is that nobody knew this was going to be the game per se and so, whoever had their recovery gear the most accessible had the best chance of winning.
@fergujp76112 жыл бұрын
Awsome video, cant wait for footage of your next trip.
@wayalife12 жыл бұрын
yes, JK's have a big advantage with their longer control arms, ease of getting bigger tires under it, traction control and, if you have a rubicon, lockers, 4:1 transfer case, electronic sway bar disconnect and dana 44 axles. TSL iroks aren't my favorite tire for the kind of terrain we play on. i prefer toyo mt's or nitto trail grapplers
