Thanks for this demonstration and recommendation for the bulb replacement. Bought the bulbs, and followed your instructions. Everything went as you said. The bulbs were a tad loose wanting to turn but once the main housing cover was on, everything stayed in place. the difference in bulbs is a great. One of my halogen bulbs had shattered, and with one working it was very dark driving. Thank you so much.

I got these for my wife's '19 JL Sport. Nice improvement over halogens. Had to fiddle with aiming them though. Seemed too high after being on 35s

Thanks for this video! I just did this upgrade, and your step by step explanation was helpful. One thing to note for anyone doing this: make sure that little red gasket comes off with the bulb when you remove the factory bulb. Mine stayed in the housing on both headlights and made me wonder why I had to press down so hard to get it to seat.

Watched video, and ordered the bulbs via link this morning, product came in this afternoon. I installed with no issues even though Amazon said they wouldn't fit my 2019 JL. Definitely much brighter in day can't wait to check the nighttime driving. Thanks for the wonderful video and instructions..........Update..No flicker and lights are bright. Now just need to order some LEDs for the fog lights.

I like this price option as well, yet to be fair the factory LED option covers all the lights. So while the headlights are the biggest lift in the package, there are longevity benefits to all the others. And finally, it seems like $600 would be more of what is a fair price.

Just did the headlights for some reason there was 2 gaskets on the bulb. Had to go with a different brand of LED fogs. Wow the difference is amazing. And of course I just realized my JL is red as well. Not trying to copy 😅

I think my stock 21 JL lights are the best of the 4 vehicles I have. I had a Panamera and its lights were great. I don’t know whether I need to improve my JL, but video suggests I do.

Good video. It's a good idea to double check headlight alignment when replacing bulbs. New tires? Lift? Double check headlight alignment. Blinding people sucks. Don't be that guy!

Glad you liked the bulbs themself should NOT make a difference when it comes to blinding people. My halogen lights from the factory blinded people and I had to adjust them on the way home from the dealership so to your point, yes, they should be aligned properly REGARDLESS of the bulbs.

"UPDATE: The install went smooth, thanks to your video. I had to use smooth channel locks like spanners to turn the led bulbs to lock them, even with silicone grease. And it did take a while to figure out what you were saying on the low beam positioning, but I can be a bit dense. I love the lights! Love love love this pippi series. I’m kinda following the same idea on my new to me 12 JKU Sport. Recently added rubicon take off 285 bfgs and wheels and Rubicon take off rock rails. Not sure about which direction for bumper but I really like the looks of the rubi/10a setup. Will also be looking at some lighting upgrades as well! Keep up the great work and thanks for a series for us normal folks with out a $50k build budget!!!

Just as a follow up, its been almost a year and they are still awesome. Buuuuuuut. We get flashed almost every time we drive with them at night. I mean every time. They are do goddamn bright, everyone else on the road gets blinded and flashes us like we have the brights on. Then we get to flash them back showing them they are idiots. But if you dont like that part of having bright LEDs, then these are NOT for you. Also we put them on stock height Sport S wrangler JLU so its not because its lifted or anything.

I have a 2020 Willys with the factory LED head and fog lights. My wife has a 2021 80th anniversary that has (had) standard bulbs. I drove hers to work one night and couldn’t see a thing so I ordered plug and play after market LED head and fog lights. The headlights I got were WAYYYYY bright, she’d always get “flashed” so I swapped back in the stock ones but put the LED bulbs in and I like them better then my factory LEDs. The after market fog lights were spot on so they stayed in. On a side not I was concerned about heat build with the LED bulbs so I drilled a 1/4” hole in the middle of the caps to let the heat out. Her Jeep will never see off road or ford water so I’m not worried about that being an issue.

Just installed these on my 24 4xE and they are amazing. However, mine aren't sitting straight but it doesnt seem to affect the spread of light. Did I not turn them enough? I felt a good deal of resistance and don't want to break anything.

They should be sitting straight when installed, this is to help keep the beam pattern pointing where it needs to be. While your light output may look great, you are most likely blinding people on the road.

I got a set of leds off amazon, had them in my renegade three years no issues then picked up the same for my gladiator. They were made by BPS T2 I believe they have updated the product. Got mine about 50 bucks and now on the third year, they are still working fine.

I just installed some Suparee 9” lights. HALO’s are not so easy. I bought two fuse taps and plugged L Into fuse 107 and R wire into fuse 109. The red wire against my better judgement but according to instruction directly to the pole of relay K14. Halos did not power on. The Bluetooth App Happy Lighting wants 39.99 a month…. I won’t be paying for that. Tried red wire directly to Battery and halos worked . Turn signaled in amber and color changed using blue tooth. However they were permanently on till I removed the hot wired red wire to battery. I need another 12 volt power source to tap into….. Any SUGGESTIONS??? The plug and play headlights worked great snd I adjusted and test drove well with no one flashing high beams at me. Adjusted as advertised.

I purchased the bulbs listed in the description, but then started ready things about flicker and needed an extra harness. I have a 2023 Jeep Unlimited Sport S JL, It looks just like the one in the video and I dont see you using a harness to stop flicker. Im assuming I dont need the anti-flicker harness, or do I?

I would never pretend to know as much as what you can read on the internet but I didn't need a harness to stop flickering and I can assure you, a video camera would show flicker if it's there.

Hey, I bought those exact same led bulb set over a year ago and never install them because so many people even the folks at beam tech told me it would flickered and cause interference, I am really surprise that this install is plug and play. I'll give it a try but I do know that my daytime running light won't work tho...

seems like the bulb don't align 9 & 3 , it has a tilt > check at 4:52 observe the led steam > the seem not aligned to 12o clock, (leds face 10 and 4oClock). you can also see through the jeep grill plate, you see the copper Line on the bulb is tilted I has the same issue. do you know how can I fix that?

I have been wondering after a recent failure by my Oracle LED Bulbs after just 2 years and something if closing the headlight housing creates heat issues for the fan and heat sink of the lights

I installed similar LED bulbs and they were great. After some time though I noticed they were flickering when I was stopped at a light / engine idling.

I had that happen on my '16 Pat with LED bulbs, flickering happens when the vehicle is expecting the bulb to be a halogen, LEDs use much less power and the control circuit gets confused. You can get inline resistors or decoder boxes that trick the computer into thinking it has the bulb it's looking for installed.

Is there plenty of air circulation for the heatsink? Number 1 killer of LED is heat. I think it is better to replace the whole Headlight unit to LED as it is guaranteed to last way longer and better light beam cut outs and output that a LED bulb in a reflector type headlight.

So far so good. If these things die early, you'll hear about it here. Also, you should always do what you think is best for your Jeep. I have run PLENTY of aftermarket headlights in the past and found most to be, just okay especially when it comes to beam pattern. Most of those had weird hot spots. I personally find these bulbs to have a much nicer pattern although, not as bright as the later. But of course, that's just my opinion and based on my experience.

I like the factory halogen housing too as it best mimics the look of the classic Jeeps in my opinion. My eyes aren’t getting any better so it may be sooner than later that I do this mod. I was wondering what the cutoff would look like. They look just fine. 👍🏼

when I replaced the head lights on my 12 Sport, I found it was best to adjust them before installing the grill because you might have to rotate the assemblies, up down or left to right, since there is no index tabs for getting them half way centered

Yes, on a JK, it can be tough to adjust your lights with the grill on.

Bought them and installed them last week! *A note on the installation, though: DO NOT overtighten the bolts holding the light housing! The housing is PLASTIC, so the bolts are not held in place by how tight they're screwed in, but rather a thin strip of LocTite. I learned this the hard way after overtightening a bolt-and cracking one of the holes in the housing.

No. The only LED headlight I've tested that will are the Truck-Lite with defrosters on the lenses.

I got the 2022 Rubicon 4xe and when I'm on the roads at night or early morning people keep HighBeaming me lol and yes! those LEDs are really bright lol. I love it :-)

Warning !! The bulbs in the description link caused there to be interference (static) on my radio. So if you are using the automatic feature on your headlights they never really turn off and will always have interference. Super annoying. Since I installed them right after purchasing the vehicle it took awhile to figure out what was the cause. Only after several trips to the dealership they were able to figure out the cause. Other than that video was great.

Eddie. I have a 2022 wrangler and I removed the six plugs on top but bottom won’t come loose. Looks like there are six fixtures of some kind holding it on. Need your help. Thanks

Excellent material and great delivery! I have a 2018 JLU sport with OEM halogen lights. I walked outside and tape measured 7” headlight. Why do aftermarket lights lean towards a 9” replacement assembly.

You can run 7" lights but 9" do a better job and are brighter.

To be clear, ALL 2018-up Jeep JL Wranglers come with 9" headlight housings. You can make a 7" fit.

The bulbs should fit in any 2018-up JL Wrangler or JT Gladiator
