With the exception of the one road day we had that took us up to the top of Mount Washington, pretty much everyday of Lobster Quest, the Nitto JL/JT Experience presented by KMC Wheels, proved to be more of a challenge than the day before. Day 5 would be no exception to the rule. As we would come to find, the owners of the historic Sudbury Inn, our home in Bethel, Maine, were also owners of private property nearby and it contained some of the best wheeling in all of New England. It would be here that we really got to put our Jeep JT Gladiators, JL Wranglers and WARN winches to the test. It would also be where Cindy and I would do our very first body damage, most in our group would at least take out a tail light and Synergy... well, you'll just have to see for yourself.
We hope you've been enjoyed watching EVO, Synergy, Skyjacker, PSC, JKS, Tactical Off Road, Hi-Lift, all the participants and of course, yours truly taking on some of the fun trails the east coast has to offer.
This video was independently filmed, edited and produced by Cindy and Eddie Oh of WAYALIFE. The opinions and actions of the individuals featured are in no way affiliated with or attributable to Nitto Tire, KMC Wheels, Off Road Evolution or any of the JL/JT Experience sponsors.

I'm not going to lie, I loved watching expensive new Jeeps take a beating on these northeastern US trails. I love seeing videos of this type of terrain, but usually people tackle it in beat up old rigs, not 2018+ Jeeps.

@@glenngore6609 LOL - this is the JL/JT Experience and so yes, MOST of the people on this trip are manufactures. The whole purpose of it is to test out and show how well their products do out on the trail. A few of the participants are invited guests and I can assure you that they've all paid for everything on their Jeeps. Sure, Cindy and I have received help from our friends but you're kidding yourself if you really think anything is "free". Can't speak for everyone but money is an object to us and it cost a small fortune for us to drive 3,000 miles across the country to wheel hard for a week and then drive home again with some body damage. Some people save up and go to Europe or on an African safari and some do this. You could too but it would require a lot of money.

@@wayalife It's funny you said this. My girlfriend and I were talkimg about this. I told her I am sure some of the products are free or reduced. But look what they have to do. look at the time spent outside setting up cameras, editting. Camera equipment isn't cheap. I am sure that you must do a report on some products as well. It all looks fun until you realize it's not not that fun for you, it's your job.

Wayalife brotha, I like the way you put it. Some people don’t understand what it all entails for sponsorship. Some think it’s all “free” and you just receive receive receive and walk away! NO WAY! Nothing in this world is “free”. You may get a set of dynatracs for “free”, but after that you have to attend all their events on your dime, take time off work to show up at their booth for show and tell at any and all car shows across the nation. When it’s all said and done, those $14k axles have been paid for by your time and expense to attend and go to and from these events. I know and understand very well. When we were young and did the ricers, same thing. We get a sponsorship and our whole car is souped up, but in the 2 year of contract, owner of vehicle have easily spent $40-$50k In travel expenses, gas, hotel, food, and lots of time invested.

Beautiful scenery, beautiful Jeeps, and beautifully shot episode....loved every damn minute of it, fastest 34mins of my life. A perfect Friday gift with some whiskey on the rocks. As a Californian, but WA native, that trail didn’t look all that hard, but watching well built machines struggle proved that the camera adds 15lbs and lies relentlessly about trail difficulty. Kudos!

@wayalife

LOL - Milestar Patagonia MT's = NO traction, difficult to balance, tread that cups and wears out fast. Essentially, they're a terrible tire and one that I have no idea why they're so trendy right now.

You know, I'd be the first to say that I wasn't a fan of them when they first came out especially seeing some of them break brackets and the like. However, they've come a long way and made some nice improvements over the last few years. I'm really glad we decided to test out a set as they really held up great on this week long trip. It wasn't just our Dana UD60 that was getting torture tested, it was ALL the rigs running them and they all did great. I would highly recommend them now.

I am thinking of staying with the 35 s but want 37s and I hear you say you swapped out your axels I obviously have much to learn! And I appreciate the way you go about showing us the work you do! I am binge watching your KZbin channel now lol
