Wayanad is a district in the state of Kerala, India. It is a 2,000 square kilometer high, flat land located in the Western Ghats. The name Wayanad comes from the words "Vayal" and "Nadu" which translates to "paddy field land".
One of the best thing to do in wayanad, kerala.
Its approx a 6 km offroading done by experiemced thar drivers, only 4×4 allowed out there to reach 900 kandi park. I must say opt for the local driven car coz its very risky to drive especially in rains. It cost around 1200 per car for a round trip.
After u reached, 200 is the entry tkt and it includes 8 to 9 activities in which glass bridge is the worth going. (Got only 2 mins for a group)
From there u get the panormic view of the hills. Other activities also there, u can do it as well.
Zip lining is paid, 100/person
For food, i saw only one corn shop and one small canteen is there which was giving a thali also.
Time was given 2 hrs by our driver for sightseeing and activities
I must say it was my first offroad expeeience and i was thrilled and surprised as well that this is real and can be done.
900 Kandi can be called the best-kept secret in Wayanad. It is one of the most phenomenal and earthy views of Wayanad in all its glory. It is spread over 900 acres and is home to the most exquisite flora and fauna, waterfalls, and the not so interesting leeches of Wayanad. It is bound to satisfy the love of youngsters who like trekking adventures.
The ride to the top is in a jeep, costs 1200 and can seat max 6 people. The ride gives you a great off-road experience in addition to taking to the destination. After reaching on top you need time buy tickets for the bridge and hike a little, around 500m. There are some time pass games on the way to the top that you can experience while coming back down. Would recommend to go up first since the jeep waits for 1 hour only. The glass bridge in itself was nothing exciting, too narrow to give you any good view down below or scare. But the view was worth it. We went in October and the rolling hills were bright green and just a sight for sore On the way back you can visit a watch tower, play archery, shooting, cricket and some nice rope games. We enjoyed the rope games. All in all a good experience after visiting Soochipara falls which is near by.
The off-road jeep ride provided an thrilling experience. The weather was pleasant, making it an ideal place to enjoy quality time with family. They offered various exciting activities like rifle shooting, archery, and even had a tree house, among other things. The glass bridge was a remarkable feature, and the thrilling swing elevated the overall experience to a new height. It was truly a fantastic and memorable outing.
The view from the glass bridge is spectacular, especially on a mild drizzling day. However the jeep ride from the main road to this place, which is of 7.5kms, is an adventure in itself and totally crazy! There's no road at all but very narrow off-road made of rocks, broken boulders and mud, through a complete forest area. But the view from the bridge made up for this ordeal! Must visit once!

Week end ഇലും holidays ല് maximum പോകാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നത് നല്ലത്....ജീപ് യാത്ര. കൊടുത്ത പൈസക്ക് മുതലാകുന്ന ഐറ്റം ആണ് ....പിന്നെ 250 രൂപക്ക് ticket എടുത്തു കാണാൻ പറ്റിയ ഒന്നും ഇല്ല ന്നു തോന്നുന്നു
