I''ve bought another brand stainless capsule that i find disappointing.. It's likely I've not hit on the best grind setting .. I use a Hero hand grinder,and have tried super fine and mid fine yet still the coffee does not flow out of the pot as it does so nicely with the Nespresso pod/ wondering .. can you describe the likely best grind setting ..as in fine to course.. and I want to buy one of your Way's because I admire your design as well as your excellent over the top pro videos.. super well filmed,great scenes of your partner's clowning around .. the whole street busker deal to polished suited business wiz's !! Way to go ..excellente !

Wouldn't the machine's perforation system - which is built to perforate plastic and foil - get fucked up by pressing against this metal pod and kind of ruin the machine for regular pods later?

The capsule are designed shorter and has it own holes, so the needle won't punctuate the pod

Un problema comune per tutte le capsule ricaricabili, é il volume utile ridotto di carico per il caffé rispetto alle capsule originali. É una questione puramente geometrica, avendo elenti metallici non necessari nelle capsule monouso. Si tratta di circa 0.5-1.0g in relazione alla capsula e la macinatura usata. Questo si traduce in un caffé "meno intenso", ancora più distante dal vero espresso di quanto giá non lo sia il nespresso di per sè. Se si ha giá la disgrazia di avere una nespresso, le capsule ricaricabili sono sempre una alternativa valida alle capsule monouso originali (prezzo folle e qualitá dubbia). Se pensate alle ricaricabili per acquistare una nespresso...beh, lasciate perdere ed optate per una vera espresso. Saluti.

Se ha avuto modo di guardare altri video nel nostro canale avrà notato che con alcuni caffè normalmente presenti sul mercato, riusciamo ad avere delle ottime estrazioni con più di 5 grammi di caffè che è lo standard delle capsule Nespresso. Concordo, é necessario "giocare" con la granulometria e la geometria del filtro per compensare la ridotta pressione di estrazione delle macchine nespresso, se comparata con le macchine tradizionali.

@@anacletoroboris9123 a onore del vero la pressione all'interno delle macchine Nespresso è maggiore rispetto a quelle da bar, parliamo di 19 bar delle macchine Nespresso contro i 9 bar circa delle macchine professionali, ma come credo lei sappia trattandosi di sistemi di estrazione differenti non ha molto senso concentrarsi sul solo fattore della pressione della pompa. Looks good, but doesn't work. The machine reads a bar code of the capsule without it it will not pressurize. So yes the coffee comes out but the taste is poor since it's not reading to pressurize.

Intelligent product but far more expensive than those from all competitors producing "steel capsule" solutions. In a real life situation, of having guests home, you dont want to reload the capsule (hot and wet) at each and every coffee you want to brew. It comes logical to have at least 6/8 capsules ready to go for any unplanned occasion, without the hassle of refilling the steel capsule on the spot. Fine...you can buy 10 capsules then, ready in your cupboard...but as you realize the overall cost for this, about 400 USD to purchase just 10 tiny steel capsules and a plastic funnel (estimated production cost of 5 USD for each kit...you understand there is something wrong in the business model or at least it is priced insanely.

I bought one. It was a huge disappointment. It kept getting stuck in the coffee machine. I could only get it out of the machine with a screwdriver. The cap always fell off and the coffee grounds went into the used filter container. I put one of the extra filters in, and since then I can't get it out of the cap and make coffee with it. It was a waste of money.
