I have heard people say Brooklyn lights many times before while describing globe string lights or any other balls of lights on strings, but now that I google Brooklyn lights myself I don't find any connections. I stayed in brooklyn for a month back in 2014 and I saw a lot of these lights which I'm guessing you will put up but yeah.. weird, guess I'll have to throw it out of my dictionary then :D
