From counting backwards, I think Mike has 96 points prior to his last move, and Nick has 98. Giving Nick the majority in the red guild loses Mike 5 points and gives Nick 5, so the total is now 91 vs 103. Getting the Inspiration card doubles the space card from 6 to 12, giving the end result 97 vs 103. So if Mike had instead just placed his green worker to gain an influence in yellow or black, he would have won another guild, gaining 3 points and winning with 99 vs 98! But that was a tight game so it could have gone either way! Thanks for the playthrough! :)

The Brothers Murph + Garphill Games = 🎉 Somehow, the M Bros make Shem's crazy (wonderful) brain burners accessible enough to understand and enjoy even in the morning before the caffeine kicks in. Such a great game! I tend to get distracted watching playthroughs, but it was so neck and neck, I wanted to watch the whole time. I've never played Wayfarers, but it really does look like such a fun game. I would love to try it sometime.

I bought scholars for my own Christmas present. I have yet to play it. I did package up the box nice and neatly. I think I’ll play and learn when ou guy post the next video on that game. (Yes I know you already have played the game, that’s why it was on my to get lost)

Question about scoring the 2x2-blocks of the caravan-tiles: How can you get more than 4 points there? No matter how I put it, I can only fit 4 blocks of 2x2 squares in. Or am is missing something? I assume, that every tile can only belong to one 2x2-block.

they can overlap! So you can use a tile in multiple 2x2's. There's 8 potential points to be had in the big caravan, and 2 points in the one on the new board for a total of 10
