Wayfinder 1.0 - 3 Solo Player Builds

Great game, played EA and now full release, already 40 hours into the game since 1.0 Totalling 140 hours, just entered the second zone Frostmarch, with the Crucible map still undiscovered too. Incredible high quality game with alot of puzzles, something to find in every corner whether its a secret chest, secret pets and more. Love it.

Lora ult is basically apocalyptic form of War/Death in Darksiders games. Also Venomess really feels like a perfect character for lvling up and getting better gear for....other characters. Her self healing seems to be pretty bonkers and if someone want to go with her and, lets say, daggers they pretty much can and will not lose on the utility of her skills. And I must sayd I really love the 2d venom clouds she leaves behind, it looks really satisfying and I can't wait for awakening her (I just want to pump up some lvls as Senja and unlock every basic thing in character sheet).

Yeah, Ven is my favorite so far...and the "cinematic" combat is just sooo good...when I edited the footage and included some slow-motion sequences, I realized how good the animations are and how flashy and detailed everything is .

Amazing builds, explanations, and video! Awesome seeing 2/3 builds using Sword and Shield. I've been extremely interested in them but want to see a tier list with gameplay, but dont think there any on 1.0

Thank you! Shield&Sword-wise you basically have two great dmg option with Unity + Tooth&Claw or you go Flash Heal/Overshield with two great options for dmg reduction (best for chars who don´t hve that).

Great video. I play Wingrave with lots of weapon power (around 16k at the moment unbuffed). His shield heavy slam in a combo counts as a weapon finisher and resets cooldown on Righteous Strike. So i usually do 3 light attacks, 1 - 2 heavy, Righteous Strike, rinse repeat and weave the other abilities in as needed. Due to his passive, weapon abilities charge faster, i use Radiant Dawn, giving me a damage buff via Archons Blade that i can keep up permanently in a fight. Just focus on one thing and try to be really good at it, be ir crit, ability power or whatever and chose your echos accordingly. EDIT: for the talents i chose the other side. It has a passive that makes your attacks uninterruptable, which can come in super handy. The weapon power from HP is super nice but the damage difference in endgame isn't that great.

I think WIngrave has a great kit and can be specced very differently to make it work. 16k WP is crazy, have to work on that :-)

Wingrave players...just run Windmothers and full weapon power/break power/crit....you'll get healing from your skills, and for a weapon attack chain finish. You'll be killing bosses in under a minute.

Wingrave has a lot of cool build options. I just tend to love a classic Sword&Board build :-)

Noob question - I just got lvl 30 on my venomess, but haven't dropped a single Nightshade. How can I get it? / where does it drop?

It´s totally random, I remember waiting forever on a gun drop with my starting char. But lvl 30 means you should be able to buy one at your level range from the vendor - the one where you can also upgrade the weapons (middle of the first town).

Interesting, so far I did not warm up to him. And yes , it´s just my personal favorite Wayfinders - I´m sure people will come up with crazy good builds for all the classes. And I always think the class you dig most and really like will always be "the best" for you.

@@wholesomegamer "The best defense is a good offense" Kyros's takes that to the nth degree. Pumping his raw offense not only does big numbers, but the bigger his damage is, the more he spams a MASSIVE self heal, self shields, procs extra skill charges (which creates a feedback loop for all of this), AND ult generation. He can't face tank 1shot's, he's not as safe as Wingrave, but anything short of 1shots you can literally scumbag dps through boss mechanics you flat out ignore because you out heal them as you melt the boss, all while having fantastic AOE for adds. PS: don't get him nerfed lol

Ability power or weapon power. Some characters favor one more than the other. My grendal wep/break build can hit for 46k. Certain weps are better than other. Material farming is a FUCKING CHORE so test the weapons at base before committing to one.

Yeah, good hint...fully upgrading a weapon or wayfinder to stars is a real commitment - so thoroughly testing first what you like is highly recommended.

On heroic Grendel make the game kind of easy especially if you have a good weapon power build I'm mostly killing everything within three hits or I just one shot most trash ads boss only take one full combo rotation and my build it's not even complete.

It is always good in a game with some many playable characters to have viable options with every class.

@wholesomegamer I used to play wingrave on the beta with his signature weapon the bastion it literally made him unkillable with so much health regen from his skills and passive with reliable damage output. every character is viable though we are not stuck playing one definitive build love the fact that we can mix match every weapon on every character to try every builds.
