It's so Important that he's talking about toxic masculinity because a lot of guys deal with. We need to teach young boys it's ok to be sad and have strong emotions.

I cannot imagine how painful being rejected by your father because you are a gay man. It's equally important for ALL family members to receive therapy. This burden for gay men is excruciating. A father and mother's agony and grief should never be under-mined . It's tragic for everyone.

You don’t have to be a gay boy to feel rejected by your father so many boys failed to live up to their fathers expectations that’s why this song resonates so well. I was channel switching one night and I came upon a PBS special for kinky boots nothing else was on so I watched it I was so glad that I did this song captivated me
