Can’t stand him. Him and Nicholson the only people in the darts media who would have mvg over Phil just for personal reasons. We used to have sid Dave John now we have these two clowns taking over the matches and laughing at there own ridiculous jokes.

@@michaelmulhall5007 We’re of different opinions then. I actually think Paul is a fantastic commentator with a real love for the game. He also has outstanding coaching abilities and seems down to earth. I have heard him say on countless occasions how great Taylor is.

Wayne opened a new darts area I was managing 10 or so years ago, top bloke, stayed late chatting to us. Gave everyone his time, and was truly entertaining. Absolutely gentleman .

I grew up on a farm & my dad played darts of a night. So I played darts every night with my dad. I only played against adults. Have played A grade darts since I was 15-16. Such a similar upbringing. Love Darts ❤🇦🇺

I've been MC for Wayne in exhibition many times. Best entertainer out there. 13 times he's actually blown the dart into the winning double while I've been stood by the board Last July (2022) he hit 13 x 180 with me in Cumbria

Unbelievably good podcast. Wayne’s a legend of the sport and 2nd only to Sid Waddell in terms of characters that we’ve seen in the commentary box. Not many people can do both the insightful stuff as well as the comedy. Wayne can.

To me Wayne's love and passion for darts overrides any annoying bits. I enjoy him talking about the mental side. Not a knock but people who have failed a lot can sometimes give more insight than perennial winners. With hindsight of course

Although I enjoyed the interview and am a Mardle fan, he was never No2 in the world. Constantly very good but no major wins. Wade, Dennis, Lloyd and RVB were all above Wayne at that time.

Wayne is a very outwardly truthful person and wants to give the benefit of his experience to all. Unfortunately the problem he has, is that he lies to himself and his belief in what he did to propel his dart is not contestable. His nickname of Hawaii 501 should have been changed to Hawaii 5.

Terrible player and really gets on his high horse as a commentator, speaking down about players well beyond him. All he's known for is beating Phil Taylor and he had to get the crowd involved to do it. Total clown
