I didn’t know much about Mr. Las Vegas, but I did appreciate Danke Shoen, and that was the only song I was familiar with. Just recently, I decided to attend one of his concerts with a couple of elderly friends, and I was blown away with his many talents and contributions to the entertainment industry! No matter what age you are I encourage you to see a show; Newton encorporates his life story from his early beginnings to his current. Today, I appreciate him more than ever… Long live Mr. Las Vegas!!!

Can someone explain the hate toward Newton? Just 30 comments and a good handful are making nasty remarks about him.
@if6was929
@if6was929 3 жыл бұрын
Well, he's strange, not a good reason to be disliked but not unusual. He died his hair black and grew a pencil thin mustache to hide his adrognious appearance, so he's a bit of a phony. He replaced the Beach Boys at Regan's inauguration because Regan said the BB attracted the wrong type of people. Many artists hearing that would refuse to perform but Newton had no problem with it. Finally, he's a Trump supporter.

At the height of the British invasion with the Beatles and Stones and Animals, he must have warmed the hearts of grandmothers everywhere. No threatening sex apple here, actually no sex appeal period. And a very old-fashioned performing style that would have been right at home on the Lawrence Welk show.

Great showman, mesmerising performer. Visuals can only constitute a problem for those who have an issue with anyone looking or sounding a tad different. Soprano voice put you off or is it the native American x German anatomical features? If so, then you need to get past that, cos the problem is all yours.

There were rumours he did not go through normal puberty due to hormonal imbalances and he had to get a hormonal treatment later on which would make sense considering his voice lowered like an octave at 30. If that is true, androgynous appearance makes sense in this period.
