But how do you remove points from the surface

Here are a few ways to do this. If you know the point numbers, simply go into the point editor and delete them from the surface. Or if you want to do it visually, make sure the surface style is set to one that shows points....the one called “triangulation and points” is a good one. Then select the surface, and edit it using the delete points icon.

Fair play man. Great video. Well done! Have you done any video on comparing surfaces, say for example compare a surveyed surface to the proposed design surface and put a height band on it so you see the colours of where they are lower or higher than what it should be.
