Same. Starting to think it doesn’t matter. Just gonna start picking songs I like with the same type of bass instrument as my song and try to match them. We’ll see cause I only have headphones to mix in 🤷🏾‍♂️

Ok thats right Thats explsined very good Im doing IT Like This befor i searched vor Info about This Im Always thinking about some ear catching Things so frequencies and His they did IT His IT Sounds when they appear Thats when im going to think about reference music Reference in Main is very good to adjust your Setup for the Monitors If you hear Sound differences you can use and EQ between the Monitors If they Dont have one Now AS i sadly referenced my Monitors to some Things i want to hear , i found Out my Monitors as well AS the Dolby Surround Hifi i listen Back too , is lower quality to deliver what i want I Heard the differences between Yamaha hs7 and Adam audios three way Monitors for 1500 Euros per Monitor So now i know the differences to my Monitors Everyone Else will say ,what a Sound But If you know whats Missing , AS i do now you think , what a crap 😂😂😂 give the Sauce ITS furstrating , but ITS ok Like IT IS for now If you listen to music in good disco or Club , or in a very Professional Studio or on very expensive Bose or Teufel systems , you should remember that you cant compare and get the Same Out of your Monitors Their spectrum of frequency and their own built Image of Sound is different I dont know If ITS possible to usw a very good EQ befor the Monitors , but IT needs to be one without amp because active Monitors have an amp itself If Theres a Chance to adjust the quality of Monitors with passive non powered EQ that would be fantastic Im using an Analog mackie Mixer with optimal EQ , IT helped to Balance the Monitors Soundquality and ITS huge difference But ITS Not giving more brilliance to everything or depth Like with new Monitors Theres many Things to think before buying Monitors or changing your Mix The Mix need to done right So first Play your Mix in different systems , maybe you can Play your Mix on very expensive Monitors If you know a Producer If Not you can Just Check the difference in a music Store where they sell and let you listen to several Monitors , then you will also notice If your Mix has massive differences to refernce Songs you want to get Close to But as Said Here in the Video You should create your own Image in the whole instrumental and Song You will learn how to paint your music with Atmosphere and deth or whatever you Like to hear Enough Plugins deliver an Image Like Motown , Vintage , 90s boombap, Trap , Classic , whatever In the end you can send your Mix though These amps and Filters giving IT different Finish and Looks What you Producer is underwear , what you Mix is your Fashion , and when you Put your Jacket shoes and hat or Hairstyle , thats the complete Look of your Sound If you Paint graffity ITS firstlines , fill in an Background , and then ITS the Blocks higlights and frames that IS giving the Finish Look

So what is considered a good reference mix? Different sources of the reference track's origin may tend to degrade the true sound as it travels thru the matrix...lol... don't ya think?
