This is such a great example of how quickly technology is making independent film making the best it's ever been. Very impressed. Keep up the amazing work!!

Volpin's work are, quite literally, Art pieces. Wonderful for Photoshoots and drooling over, but they are "Hero" props through and through. These, not only looking sweet as hell, are slightly more disposable. Volpin spends months working on all the fine details, but a good drop will turn his wonderful portal gun into Apple-styled debris. It's all about the suspension of disbelief and durability when it comes to filmmaking, and from the look of it, these casts are spot on. Two words: Sell Casts

@codebreaker2001 I know, but the term "battery" is commonly used for a lead or lithium cell. We wouldn't want to misappropriate the term making non-fans think a tri-beam laser rifle works on freaking Duracell!

The Eyebots weren't only enclave equipment, with tthe lack of many NCR troops means were not near Vegas. From these Obseravtions though these events of Nuka Break Seem to take place during either Before the Battle of hoover Dam in 2277 or in the Years Between. They are in Calfornia though, if you dont remember when Our little groupcame to the town of Eastwood, the mayor said his town was of the finest establishments in the NCR

I agree with the others here, you guys would make a very good profit by making working pip-boys and replica laser rifles and replicas of the other items unique to Fallout that you used in the film. I, for one, would be quick to buy a replica pip-boy if they were sold (not the clock)

I like it, but it looks more like a Tri-Beam Laser Rifle, rather than the long Laser Rifle. Also, the emitter head is just like the Tri-Beam, a regular Laser Rifle has like, a flat panel with a hole.

now, make a regular laser rifle, a Laser RCW, and a laser pistol and the set will be complete. :D

With how cheap it's becoming to fabricate using 3d printing, this type of casting may be a thing of the past in another decade. Granted, the printers I've used were small and couldn't make some of the bigger parts, I think it's feasible even now. That being said, you make awesome stuff. Really dig the attention to details.

Good to see the behind the scene stuff but I would suggest actually showing the process of making the props as opposed to only talking about it. Since the "making of molds" was already covered in a previous vid (no point in completely redoing that part), it would be nice to see the process with the comments of what you're doing and why. While this isn't BFX, the 'step by step" format of BFX was one of the quality points of it and shouldn't be discarded. Also, must improve the sound quality.
@DuetchJunger13 жыл бұрын
i would totally buy one

Where they film is in the mojave somewhere near route 15 I believe but they are going for that new vegas feel to it with the western sytle themes and the legion, yes they were on the east side of the coloradro river but didnt stretch from there to east coast of the united states. we also do not know what year it is as well. enclave eyebots were made around the fallout 3 era. when the broken steel dlc came around the eyebot program was shut down do to focus study on enclave hellfire armor.

What's up guys? I actually made a prop gun that goes with a suit of armor that i'm making for a halloween costume. It was really simple. I took a 2x4 and cut it into a stock shape, then cut the handle and trigger off of an old airsoft gun, and gorilla glued it to the bottom of the stock. then I just used some 2" PVC pipe as the barrel screwed to the top of the stock, and then I just put some pieces off of an old satellite dish for looks. it looks awesome, and the only money i spent was on glue.
