Wow, this was amazing. Clearly a whole new level of professionalism here. Love the new theme, too - and guys, stop asking for puppet zach. It wouldn't really suit the whole mad monster lab theme. Unless, perhaps, they went the whole hog and made puppet zach into a frankenstein's monster of some sort. Also, although Ralis does a great job of presenting, perhaps Zach could do the "parts you'll need" bit again? So you both have about equal "screen time". Love Ralis' make up, by the way.

Great show! Ralis seems like a really nice guy (although he looked pretty freaky in this episode :P) ...and there's great chemistry between the hosts. It's also awesome to be seeing some professional effects. As much as BFX had its 'indie cred', most of us didn't follow the tutorials anyway. This gives a real look into the way proper effects are done, and entertainment-wise it rocks!

I have a minor question, would you use this kind of rig if you were doing a splatter effect from a sword slash, or would there be some modifications involved? If it involves an entirely different type of rig, that could be another episode.

@inov8ve well that depends upon how you trigger it, it should stop at the trigger but you can always use a check valve but you do not get the same effect with a compressor
