I never knew it but I was waiting for this kind of RL content. Mechanics and they way they are used have changed, evolved, been innovated etc. over the course of RL's lifespan. Cool to see a video reflecting on this for one of the most iconic mechs in the game.

Incredible ingenuity to see the potential in this mechanic so early man. I’m sure no one ever believed that people would be hitting triple resets and double taps from landing on the ball upside down in the air when commenting on that thread. I always look back at these moments of discovery as “golden eras” of a game when everything is still so mysterious and theoretical. I can still feel the excitement for what’s to come when reading your post, even 6 years later when I know the outcome haha

Hey Wayton, beautiful video. Very well edited & informational. However, for these types of videos a timeline in terms of month/year would be a lot easier to follow than "RLCS season XX" for the more casual audience such as myself. I'm not sure when all of those seasons started/ended, so it's hard to establish a timeline. & prior to any of the RLCS seasons mentioned it was hard to realize how slow/fast everything was evolving since no dates were mentioned. I might suggest in future videos of a similar genre to show the month/year in the corner for every new event discussed. Thanks for the content!

Lovely video! Always good to get a reminder of how long it took until it was in RLCS. From the back of my mind I would of thought it was much earlier.
