Koreans and most international fans just hate the Chinese, its sadly as simple as that. Hopefully them transitioning to Korean songs will help their promotion, but at the same time I love their Chinese sound a lot more...

Winwin is still part of the group his solo shoots and dramas and stuff are still being promoted on the NCT account but yeah he has been busty doing a lot of stuff in china , I really hope they can manage the schedules well next year so that he can participate for next year promotions.

It's interesting that you mentioned that about how they're so good with songs that worships women cuz that's also how I feel about some of their songs. In their Japanese album the Highest my best track from them is called IMAGES and it's worshipping a woman in the most maturely romantic and tender kind of way!🥰I've never heard a song quite like it in kpop before and WayV sounded so good! I hope you do react to some of the tracks you missed out on on their Give Me That and The Highest album. I especially hope you react to Might As Well, Deep Ocean, Images, Bandage and Tempo! Those are really great tracks that all very playlist-worthy.😊

If I remember correctly, Phantom's comeback date was changed to show respect to someone important who died in China, a governor, a king, someone like that. So Winwin couldn't be a part of the album promotions in Korea since he had a drama filming in China. Since then, Winwin has inexplicably not participated in anything from WayV, although he continues to do his solo activities as an actor and model.

so glad you got to check out the videos from Give Me That and The Highest! and can't wait to see you guys' reactions to On My Youth stuff - it's my favorite WayV album! but they're all great projects - also, looking forward to their new mini! so, about WinWin, as you read in the comments at the end there, SM put out a statement that WinWin wouldn't be in Give Me That citing scheduling conflicts. WinWin then put out a statement on his Bubble saying that he had been told originally that comeback prep would start in May 2024, so he booked other jobs January - April. after all that was set, he was then told the comeback was being pushed up to March and though he tried to find a way to still participate, he and SM weren't able to reach a solution for both The Highest and now Frequency (unless I've missed something), SM hasn't put out official statements regarding WinWin's absence so we don't really know why he's not in them - my guess is just that since Give Me That got pushed forward, everything else did too, which blocked him from participating, but that's just my guess the worst part about all of this is that WinWin has been getting a ton of hate for his absence with people saying he doesn't care about the group only himself and that WayV's better as 5 because he doesn't bring anything to the group, and just a bunch of other nonsense that, of course, SM is doing nothing about
