Jack after of borning does not knowed sam and dean and he knows castiel as his father instead of lucifer and castiel loves jack as his real son and even castiel because of jack's protection he wanted killed lucifer. In addition when castiel backed to life he protected jack and gaves his love to jack even he gaved his life because of jack and castiel made deal with empty until empty taked him instead of jack becomes he promised kelly that gaved his life for kelly's son. Even before of jack's born he buys things for jack's born like a real father and when castiel backed to life, jack and castiel's relationship was close and friendly and when jack was in trouble or natural times jack told with castiel and he told anything to castiel that don't told to sam and dean mabey for this reason he was guessed sam and dean doesn't understand him. And in jack in box and moriah's episode he was alone person who doesn't want jack died and castiel was alone person stayed front of dean and sam and another person and he sayed we should help him and we shouldn't kill him.

I havent kept up with any SPN news since the show ended. You just reminded me how much it meant to me. I fuckin cried. I figured out i loved this show because it was about finding a CHOSEN family, like that scene where Dean bakes a cake for Jack. SPN, in all its run, except the last episode, was about FINDING people who accepted you,and accepting them, creating a new family, away from your toxic blood relations. They said "family doesn't end in blood and it doesnt start there either", they gave us the hope that it was okay to leave behind blood relations who hurt you and find a healthier family but in the end they fucked it all up. The ending was just, blood trumps all, and thats why it was sad, it destroyed the point the show built up over 12 years. It broke my heart.
