Thanks! I didn't know you can hold your hand over the phone to make a report. A brilliant thing Waze does when reporting an object on the road - it seems to know when you STARTED the report, knows about how fast you are going, and reports the object where you STARTED the report a 1/4 back, and not when/where you hit "send." Every time I hear "object on road ahead" I STAY IN LANE as the object is usually eventually pushed between lanes. Saved me a bunch of times! I also like how you can let it run, even if not navigating anywhere, and you can still get the alerts read to you.

Thanks for this video! So helpful! I'd like Waze to stay in the forefront when a call comes in. Nothing more annoying than trying to see where I am going, a call comes in, and I have to swipe away the person's picture/info to get Waze back. It would be a nice option to be able to choose!

As a part time lyft driver, the only thing I don't like about Waze is that it doesn't say "destination ahead on YOUR LEFT [OR RIGHT]" like other apps do. This is a major inconvenience for me. So I'm forced to use google maps which guides me to start looking for my riders' location quicker. If it did it, I'd use Waze over google.

i used it about a week ago and i didn't like that the route and the map didn't point to the top of my phones screen in PORTRAIT orientation, and would like to modify the route that has been given to me, for exple to take a steet with a better view or a better pavement....

I think when you hold your hand over the screen and speak to it.. any cars nearing the location you were just at should hear YOUR voice describing what exactly is going on.

+MusicAMG type in a new address into the search bar. You will be prompted to start new drive or add stop. Select add stop. Tap on a report icon for example if you see a police icon tap it to get more details. Hopefully this helps.

+Kennith Dixon go to the settings tab. It's a grey icon on the top left of your search menu. Select avoid toll roads. I hope this helps.

When using any navigation app it’s best to have your phone connected to a power source. Apple Maps and Google Maps will drain your battery just as well.

Hey Titus. So how do you sort your favorites alphabetically and they stay that way the next time you use the app? Can't be done, right? And how about a tutorial that explains what each and every icon means or represents. I'd like to know what the two icons next to a report that is on the map, one is a thumbs up and the other is a circle with a line through it. I've been assuming that the thumbs up means yes, the cop is there, or yes there is car on the shoulder, or yes there is a pothole, etc. Then the circle with the line through it, I'm assuming means no longer applicable. So what's the deal?

You would be correct. The thumbs up actually serves two purposes. First is to acknowledge that the issue still exist. Second it’s used to thank the Wazer who placed the alert there in the first place. Unfortunately you can’t sort your favorites alphabetically. Once I get through a ton of their apps I would love to revisit this app in another video. Thanks for the feedback.
