They can afford this because the last time Turks used “Kağan” as a title was ages ago. So it culturally transformed into a name.

No new MK will be the same game, the plot always changes, new characters are added, the graphics improve, there is no need to change the style of the game itself, because this style is what people love this game for. This is one of the reasons why games like League of Legends go down, unnecessarily rework everything every now and then, just for the sake of change.

Shao khan showed himself as a conqueror to her in the previous timeline, that's why she fell in "love" with him. Now her husband died before shao khan could get to the point, he is just a subject to her, but who knows.

I really want to see more of Kung Lao because his life probably changed the most in this new timeline. As the Great Kung Lao actually became champion, he no longer has to prove his family’s legacy and is supposedly just a street fighter. Especially with Raiden being Liu Kang’s main focus, I wonder who Kung Lao might be. Maybe the Smoke to a human Raiden. Or he could become a sour man, angry at his family being forgotten since the Great Kung Lao’s victory.

MK11 Shao is peak design, this is cool too though. Those horns are a bit much however, limits his design and makes it so his classic helmet wont work unless they cut off his horns.

General Shao and Motaro look amazing ! I love the updates to their design , also it's a refreshing take to make Shao a general rather than a Kahn. While I'm glad my favorite Mortal Kombat character is back, Sindel isn't selling me with her look.. But I'm glad they got her last voice actress back and her gameplay is fire !
