Thank you for posting! For reasons I don't comprehend, I still have the channel list memorized from the 80s

Brings back memories of watching Doctor Who on Saturday nights.

I remember pulling in Mississippi ETV Network with my rabbit ears when I lived in western Alabama. They use to go through all the stations giving there power output frequency and tower location then had the flag evolution SSB. There sign off lasted like 10 minutes. Like APT I use to watch Dr. Who on Mississippi Educational Network on Saturday nights.

Mississippi ETV. Wasn't that the home of The Write Channel?

0:25 - a young Sarah Polley in the short-lived "Ramona" TV series, based on Beverly Cleary's books (made in Canada). And speaking of Canada, OT but I REALLY wish the anime "Anne of Green Gables" series had been dubbed for the U.S./Anglophone Canada. It would have been PERFECT on PBS.

GIven the way these are done, I suppose the separate transmitter sites probably have some sort of local audio recording of the station ID that would be automatically played when those moments pop up in the feed.

Saturday night is Wonder Works night. And I remember it back in the ‘80’s.

As a British person, it feels really strange seeing a Thomas clip in 80’s American TV presentation for some reason.

I remember that short-lived 80s synth music at 2:02 before signing off

does anyone have any other APT sign offs outside of this one and 1992 (looking for in particular: 1970s, early 80s)?

Does anyone have a 1982 ish APT sign off by chance? I remember that I once saw that one on Facebook once.

It varied from station to station, my station used to play a lot of old movies on the weekends and during the summer.

How many stations do you have with "Q's?"

Finally realized from this list the "IQ" connection - as in educational TV.
