I watch the pro scene every now and then. I sometimes play on game ranger with friends on 1.26a (ik it's old). I have to ask the more experienced players a few questions after watching this and happy vs forti match. Why are orcs going mass air and is the bm nerfed or just not viable nowadays? Why are undead deviating from crypts? I get the human gyro/knight strat, but why not the traditional one? Spell breakers /rifle&casters and a few mortars. I feel like spell breakers could've been detremental to forti winning even tho happy is not a human after all these years. I guess NE playstyle is nothing that new from what little NE I see. Are undead still broken or are happy and Eer0 just too god at them? If u can reply without being an ass i'd appreciate it.

Blademaster got two big nerf that hinder his harassment capabilities, The first nerf is a 2 second cooldown on his windwalk ability and the second nerf is a minus 2 agility on his stats. The 2 second cooldown make it very hard for blademaster to creep jack and avoiding damage while the minus 2 agility lower his attack speed, armor and damage. Orc go mass air against undead because undead can't do anything until they get gargoyle, and wyverns is also very good for creeping due to the damage they bring. Undead went back to ghouls because crypts is very susceptible to creep jack and harass. Losing just 1 or 2 crypt will delay your creeping quite a bit and even if you don't lose any, it would still favors the orc player because they can just out creep you later when their wyverns comes out. Crypts attack have a very slow moving projectile so this make it easier for orc to creep jack, and if undead use coil to denied the creep jack, he won't have enough mana to heal his units. Ghouls are cheaper and more expendable, and you can make more of them, this allow you to fend off harass while creeping safely. Undead is not broken but they are the best race, so pair that with the best player and undead can look pretty damn OP.
