Starcraft and Warcraft 3 are hard for different reasons, it really does just come down to 'time to kill'. Units die *extremely fast* in Starcraft 2, It's very easy to look away for half a second to macro only to lose 60 supply to a crash of banelings, a widow mine or a disruptor shot. The damage numbers between the two games are roughly the same, with Headhunters doing something like 15 damage per second, while Hydralisks do 20 DPS... but Headhunters have 375 HP while Hydralisks have 90. What this tends to mean is that while you have more to do in Warcraft 3, you have less time to do it in Starcraft 2... and one of the big complaints going on right now is that if your opponent catches you not looking for ~5 seconds they can delete an entire mineral line before you can respond.

Starcraft 1 is so much harder that a BW pro joked that he might consider playing WC3 if he lost his left arm. It isnt very fun multitasking, tho, WC3 feels way less like work, and its still an RTS. It can look so beautiful when executed well

Out of topic, why doesnt Grubby matchup with pro or known players anymore? his old videos have him match against pro players but i dont see any pro players recently in his games Edit: I asked why he doesn't match up with pro players randomly in pubs anymore like in dota where you meet pros in pubs, i never asked why he doesnt want to play with pro players xd, these comments are hilarious and missing the point

Grubby is playing at his current “skill” level. The matchmaker just uses players MMR. I am fairly sure he could easily spend time training, studying replay and get back into the top or atleast near. But I don’t think he wants to. I’ve been watching grubby for years and years and I don’t think that “pro” style gameplay is as fun for him anymore. He’s already “pro” and maybe the high level gameplay and tournament match ups were just a way for Manuel to support himself and earn some revenue when he was younger. It’s a young man’s game and grubby probably has way more important things to do than grind MMR on Warcraft champs

I got a question on Animate Dead: If you animate a peon, can you build with it? And if so, what happens if the peon times out while building a structure? Does the structure just get canceled or will the peon only disappear after finishing?

Shades are good, that last fight was lost because he grouped up his forces and you just went on the other side of the trees, he gave you wiggle room and you took it. Would have been a different story if it was a pincer attack or have one force go after you at the red spot and another at your base, he knew you were all grouped up. I would say a feint would have been the best option at the red spot and an attack on the base.. he had time to think... but it was still fun to watch and I'm glad you see how powerful shades are :) Note: strat. is just my opinion, just thinking out loud.. its easy to say till you're in the situation..

Two raiders absolutely came in clutch, sealing the biggest kills in that final battle. They were considered a meme unit for so long, it's crazy seeing people discover how awesome of a unit they are decades after the game released.

Raiders have been a staple Orc unit for a long time, including the Great Patch Desert of the early-mid 2010s. Grunt-Raider-Walker (eventually + Kodo) was the go-to build for Orcs.
