MadFroG was my hero 14 year ago lol, time goes by so fast, its sad. I remember when i won a local wc3 turnoment and i was 13 years old and meeting a pro player from a big city and i did the sleep surround with that bat hero and i won the best of 3 and came out as the winner..and the guys i was playing against was twice my age....and it was on a big acreen and live commentating, man i felt just like a top player for a day, everyone screamed my name haha beings back memories and maddrog was my teacher

Nice catch. Strange indeed. The wolves don't get dispelled as easily by Wisps anymore due to their health buffs, but that one looked like it whiffed completely. Not sure what happened there.

Very nice matches. Some top tier rusty WC3 right there :) You can tell when a charismatic commentator comes into the scene. When those 2 guys were commenting between the games, i was yawning so hard. They were so boring i just skipped over it. When Grubby comes along and takes the stage at the end i light up and cannot move away. He is such a charismatic person and great commentator, he just stole the scene. GG Grubby and friends!

In the second game MaDFroG still had wisps, why didn't Grubby feed him back so he could do the mining? Then Grubby could go up to 100 food and mining could be done without taxes.

It's quite unfair that Grubby was listed as an inactive player. While people like Tak3r or MadFrog are really absent from the game, Grubby is practicing every Saturday for like 8 hours and sometimes even on other days. Grubby is simply not an inactive player, even though he might no be able to compare to the active players like Th000 or 120 there is no way guys like Insomnia beat him. And as you can see he all beat them 2 - 0. So it was just unfair for the other inactive players to compete with Grubby who's playing a lot.

Yes, it was clear Grubby will win clean against the legends but nobody was claiming their matches are balanced anyway. The casters keep repeating that Grubby is the favorite to win. And there is no other way to include him in the format - the pros would smash him.

Well, just let him cast would have been an option though. But of course people wanted to see him play - It's not a big tournament about money after all, so I guess it's okay to let him compete with the other guys.

Dude, fairness has nothing to do with it. It was a SHOW MATCH. No real competition, no prizes, just some old WC3 freinds meeting at an event and playing for fun. It was a fun nostalgia league :) Im sure they all had lots of fun telling stories about the old days between games.

Truth is after the first game MaDFroG should have switched back to undead and go for fiends+DK. It's VERY EASY to play, even for a mediocre player and it's super effective. P.S. I'm not saying he's mediocre, he just says he's out of practice but you don't need practice for mass fiends :)

That is not true - feeding is a valid strategy and is often utilized even when better players play. As you saw it worked fine the first game.

if your ally always gives you gold, it is valid, but madfrog had no gold mine and from the beginning they tried to make a rush, therefore he should have bet on another strategy, anyway. gg

Le seul qui pratique encore est grubby, et bien-sur madfrog le feed... pas très fair-play ! c'est trop facile... :( Grubby is the only one who have practice 100% now at this time.. and madfrog feed grubby.. no fair play, no fun, no gg, too easy.. bad for a pro gamer :(
