I left Judaism and converted to Islam in 1998 and I do no regret my decision. Islam has taught me mutual respect and the art of forgiveness. It has made me a better person. Islam means total peace and tolerance with yourself, and peace with God.

Why does the media not show this side of ISLAM ? I recently got my car really stuck on a pile of ice. It was going to take a tow truck. Along comes a man with wife and child, dressed like they were going out. He stops and get down on the slush and ice helping me clear under the car. Almost an hour and his wife waited patiently, when done i felt thank you was not enough as our clothes were both a mess. I wanted to pay him for his time and trouble. He strongly refused saying " I am a Muslim, you are my brother, i must help my brother". That one meeting made me realize that the wrong Muslims get all the press in this world.

yeah exactly I'm Muslim and I understand what he meant by helping, our religion teaches us to be peaceful and help people around us no matter what religion they are, after all, we are all human beings there is no difference, I blame the media for showing us like this, if you get the chance to visit a Muslim country one day you will be amazed by their hospitality and how nice they are with strangers, I hope I won't face a problem in a non-Muslim country because, due to many incidents I became afraid of traveling, afraid they would hate me for just being a Muslim wearing a headscarf or something, anyways thanks for your story

This is Islam. I live amongst Muslims here in Italy. I've become a better person because of them. They don't just talk about their faith, they LIVE it. They have integrity, manners, sincerity, humility - all of the beautiful traits most of the world has lost. They renew my faith in humans every day. I wish more people would read The Quran, get to know Muslims, and learn the TRUTH for themselves, instead of believing the distortions and false portrayals created by the media in order to instill fear.

@@janshit Muslims have shown continuous kindness, but the rest of the world just can't seem to accept that. It angers me when my fellow Christians talk down on you guys. Like what about everyone's equal under God? If we judge a whole religion based on a group of people, there's seriously something wrong. If that were the case, we should be calling all Christians British Imperialists, Nazis and members of the KKK. I think it has to do with the fact that most white people are Christians and whatever they do is acceptable in today's society. *sigh* But that's another topic. I have several Muslim friends and they're all so nice, it sometimes scares me. And they oppose terrorists. Most Muslims aren't extremists. That's like saying I like the KKK cause I'm Christian, bro I'm black, just like Christians have different groups and backgrounds within our religion, Muslims have the same tf. Lmfaooo, in conclusion, I appreciate you guys so much!!!!!!! :)))))))

@@omosefenoruwa700 salam african brother am african too from morocco , well said bro ،every rule has an exception, and in every people you find a minority who are idiots. And whoever generalizes the action of the minority to the majority is ignorant, because he oppresses the majority with his ignorance. Religion is like a car. If you give it to a respectable person, he will use the car and take advantage of its benefits, and it may help people that need someone to drive it and use it in the public interest. But if you give it to someone who is disrespectful and careless , he will not respect the rules of driving and he will drive very fast or he will drive the car while he is drunk, and may harm people and kill them. The same thing with religion. And whoever generalizes some gays to the majority is ignorant. The generalization the language of the ignorant. Terrorism has no religion, and sometimes there are those who exploit, accusing people of terrorism for dirty purposes, either of distortion and prejudice An example of this is the African symbol Nelson Mandela, who was accused of being a terrorist.

Allah love those who forgive others for his sake and have patience. So for getting Allah's love and blessing. And also according to medical science If someone doesn't forgive someone they build anger, depression and other diseases within them for having grudges, hate. So the best way to be calm, healthy, in peace and be happy is to forgive others even if they are truly wrong and leave the rest on Allah. He serves the best justice.

As a Muslim man I agree with you a hundred percent. But not every Muslim is like that. Especially in the country where it originated at. I say this because the arabs are no better than the Christians when it comes down to racism.Yet they were told that the height of a man superiority God or Allah looks at is their piority not the complexion of their skin. The prophet Muhammad said on his last days that a white man is no better than a black man and a black man is not better than a white man. Nor is an Arab better than one who is not an Arab, the almighty God or Allah looks at what's in the heart . And this is how Allah swt judges the people of the dunyah. Yet the Arabs in the middle east are totally off track with their beliefs because they go against everything our prophet Muhammad said. How can you call yourself Muslim when you look at differently at your brother who embrace the same religion you embrace but yet you see him below you? How do you denounce the people who embrace the same religion and worship the same God you do and go to war with them thus causing famine and bringing hardship upon these people who love Allah swt as much as you do? I say it again Allah swt looks at the heart of his servants not their outside.

He came down from His glory to carry out the plan for salvation and to save us from our sins. Christ died on the cross and bared each of our sins. If you believe on the name of Jesus Christ then you will have eternal life. The Holy Spirit will come and dwell inside of you and seal you as a child God. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth and the life, nobody comes to the Father except through me.” We can only have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ because God is Holy and He sent His son to save us from His wrath and sin separates us from Him. Not sure if the parents were to blame. The lady in the white shirt is the attacker’s sister. She stopped talking to her sister after this happened and reached out to the victim, who she is now friends with. Not sure where her sister went wrong, but it seems to be a big problem in America (occasionally in Canada) where people get unreasonably angry when someone is not speaking English. Culture and peers can shape a person if they let them. In multicultural countries, it’s unacceptable to not allow people to speak their mother tongue. If they’re not talking to you, it’s none of your business.

Again, Islam is the religion of peace, so I'm here and offering it. If you don't like Muslims, fine, then don't if that makes feel better about yourself but don't transform any misinformation or your hate towards Islam or taking verses out of context. I call you to read the Quran, the Bible, and the Torah study, ask, search and, just try to understand. Hope all the best for you 🤗.@kay sapphire.

@@blueqweenbilkhyun6907 u are peddling false info. 1. Islam means submission, not peace. 2. Most converts leave 2-5 yrs of converting. Watch testimonies of people leaving it, and native apostates. 3. Many are te**o*ists and millions fund them directly and indirectly. 4. Many people are beyond displaced from their homes cause of your religions superiority. Just this month more than 30 Hindus were killed by Kashmir Muslim 💥💥. They were targeted for their religion. How do u sleep at night, knowing ur book is responsible for ki**ing someone's mother/father/son/dauther? Their only fault is belonging to another religion. 5. Muslims believe in Jesus not like how Christians do. If u did, why are u a Muslim again? 6. I have read testimonies of native Arabic speakers confirm all the hate in the book. I don't have to read/learn something to come to the same conclusion. 7. Likewise I invite u to read other religion books and understand it too. I don't need to hate someone to feel good about myself. I have learned the truth about this cult, lived and worked with them. I know Islam very well.

I deeply admire the courage of her conviction, and I’m ashamed to say that I could not be as forgiving if I was in her place. It speaks to the strength of her character, and, the true teachings of the Muslim faith, somethings that has become so distorted and askew, but very few people realize that it is not a religion of hatred, but one of love and forgiveness. I realize not everybody will share my interpretation, but the very fact that this lady, based upon her personal and religious beliefs, has found her, the courage, the grace, and the class, not to mention the strength, to forgive the unforgivable. Please let this be a lesson for all of us, who aren’t Muslim, who don’t know what its core fundamentals stand for. I was in a car accident many years ago that was my fault. I had been working two full-time jobs to support my family, to pay for my children’s education, and one horrible night as I drove home after working an 18 hour day, I fell asleep at the wheel, causing a horrific accident that I will never forgive myself for. I hit a car on the highway at 65 mph. In that car was a Muslim lady, her husband, and her three children. Luckily, nobody died, but unfortunately, there were major injuries from which they are still recovering years later. As it was not a criminal offense, but fell under the motor vehicle act, I wasn’t facing any jail time, but I definitely was not expecting a woman to stand up in court and tell everybody that she for gave me, that she understood why the accident happened, and actually apologized to me, expressing her sympathy, knowing the mental and physical torture I have been going through since the accident happened. I felt absolutely horrible, to the point where I was put on suicide watch for a year, and institutionalized, because I couldn’t live with myself after what I’ve done. Hearing her in a packed quart room, telling me that she for gave me, And wanted to become friends just broke everything in me, as I stood next to my lawyer, I fell to the ground sobbing, I could not believe the extent of her compassion and understanding. She made it crystal clear that it was her own faith, the Muslim, faith, that commanded her and taught her to offer forgiveness, no matter how horrific the offence against them may have been. I was left absolutely speechless. I had already apologized countless times, but no apology in the world could take back what happened, but when she stood there, looked me straight in the eyes and told me That not only did she forgive me, but that she loved me as a fellow human being, it was more than my mind in my heart could comprehend at the time. Yet at the same time it lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. After that, I had a lot more respect for that particular, faith, and learned not to let Biased, media outlets and world politics to cloud my judgement over things I have a very little understanding of. She actually told the court she wanted to drop all charges against me, and after the judge saw me literally on the floor, just sobbing uncontrollably, that’s exactly what happened, all charges were dropped, and I walked away a free man, even though she, her husband, and one of her children, couldn’t walk anymore, they were all paralyzed from the waist down as a result of the accident, and didn’t walk, but wheeled out of the quart room. There’s not enough words in the English language to describe how humbling, how beautiful, and how unbelievably selfless this family was towards me, even after I devastated their family. Obviously, I didn’t do it on purpose, it was exactly that, an accident, but that’s still no excuse. I should’ve known better, left the car at work and took a taxi home, but because I had only seven hours to get home, grab a few hours of sleep, and get to my other full-time job, I foolishly decided to drive. I have never taken any drugs in my life, I don’t drink, it was pure exhaustion. I still can’t believe it happened, and, as I said, I will never ever forgive myself for the harm, both physical and mental, that I inflicted on that beautiful family. But I did make them a promise that I would try my hardest to spend the rest of my life, making it up to them. Ironically, we are now the best of friends, we speak almost every single day, they even consider me a part of their family now, and I ask myself, why? I definitely don’t deserve that, after the amount of damage, I caused, if I were in her place, I am so ashamed to say I wouldn’t be as forgiving, I would be angry as hell. Talk about learning a lesson, the hard way. From that day forward, I have a lot more respect for her religion, and her conviction, and I have learned not to believe everything I hear on the news, or on any media platform, of whom all have their own political agendas. Like any religion, there are different sects, but after reading the Koran, I was in bewildered off of all the things I knew nothing about it. I’m still Christian, I’m not about to change my faith in my belief system, but it certainly open my eyes to something I was completely ignorant, and oblivious to. please remember that, even though I could never ever forgive myself, I’m no longer ashamed to share my story, with the hopes that it might show other people that the Muslim faith is not one of hatred as the media so often likes to stereotype. All I can do at this point forward and spend the rest of my life doing everything possible to make up for my mistake, but I don’t think I could ever fully forgive what I have done. During the crash, I received the worst injury out of everybody, and while my physical body will never ever recover, because I fractured my spine in three places, my spiritual beliefs have drastically changed for the better. Please, don’t wait until you encounter something like what I had to endure to realize That the Muslim faith is one to be admired, not condemned, or criticized in any way. I absolutely refuse to allow the actions of a few to change the reputation of hundreds of millions of Muslims all over the world, I just hope I’m not the only person out there, who feels the same way. Thank you for listening, and literally God bless all of you.

Tears are rolling down my eyes as I read this. I'm glad to know that there are people in this world who understand Islam. It is a religion of peace and humanity. The actions of a few people should certainly not let people think ill of Islam. The Quran says that True Jihad is fighting with yourselves to be a better human being than you were yesterday. Jihad literally means struggle. So it is to struggle, to strive to be a better human being. Allah bless you and the good people of the family!🤲🏻

It is a shame when those 2 women did not take this seriously. Both of them thought it was a joke. Basically, the victim(young lady) had displayed more maturity than they did. She had spoken from her heart...she is a very nice and forgiving person. I hope this bad experience had not changed her life. In fact, it will make her a stronger and better person.
