Edited: Just felt there was a misunderstanding on my initial post, which happens, I mostly go on rants and type so much a lot of things get mixed up including my initial points ^^; Just gonna try to give a skinny version. 1. I would love to see the father get his piece of the man who caused so much pain to his daughters. 2. However, with everything going on I worried if the father's actions can disrupt or delay a great deal of the process. This due to my ignorance of how justice system works on a mechanical level. 3. On an emotional level, to the audience and the father it would be satisfying, but the end result of this situation is the father being taken away in handcuffs by men who really didn't want to have to do that, and more so this being done in front of his daughters, who I think really just needed him in the same room with them. 4. Overall a no win situation in this specific scene. At least until all the girls that stepped up as witnesses got their chance to say what they needed to, and hopefully got closure in the end, as well as the final sentencing.

@@awmusichistory Rightfully so. The legal system of the United States (part of the legal tradition of the West) has its most profound roots in the moral code of Moses (through Jesus and Rome). So the Law is based not only in "prevent aggression against pacific people" but also in "preserve the physical integrity of aggressors, no matter the harm they have made". There's a saying that summarizes this concept, "two wrongs don't make a right".

That woman was abominable. Admonishing a courtroom of parents as if THEY were somehow the problem that demanded correction here. When I saw this father trying to avenge his children it made me weep. If only I had had even one man defend or stand up for me like this, or tell me I was worthy of protection, I believe my abuse wouldn’t have gone on for so many years. If just one man in my family had felt I was worth the trouble. No one, not even my own mother ever protected me. As long as I live I will not ever forget this father. He’s my hero.

To me, heroes are all the fathers, that didnt do this, and kept their emotion under control, and let it civilized. The rest of people are not obliged, to have extra work with his ego-drama queen ape-like reaction. Imagine, there is risk of injury, when 100kg men throws himself... there is risk of damaged equipment. Imagine, everyone would do it. In every trial. Who would want to be judge? You? Imagine, in every trial, 100kg angry man would charge at victim. What would you do? Would you work in such conditions? What would be results? Death penalty? By bludgeoning or suffocating? Then, why to have any trial? Lets execute anyone convicted, without trail. Lets execute him, by beating him up, until he is bloody mess. This is your world, you want to live in?

@@benicio1967 no. I just know, that if this would be done by every father, and basically by every victim and case, and I would be judge, I would take rifle with me with tranquilizer, and I would shoot them. It's just so dishonest for judge. The work is already hard and dirty, and he just make a drama queen scene, for his ego, but for judge, policemen and rest of people it is additional work, also, people were scared. He just played a scene, so he looks like bigger macho in front of her daughters. I really sorry for the judge, she need to witness this, and I cannot imagine, if she would need to solve this daily. Respect to all fathers, that honored judge, and kept criminal to get what he deserve. In this case, lifetime inprisonment, with great chance in prison , he will get kicked ass, they dont like child molesters, and they almost always get beating. Hell, some of them were even murdered, particullary these ones, that did it to 50 and more children, teens.

Him trying to flex his bravado when he knew damn well they weren’t gonna let him get to the creep was unnecessary. You could hear his daughters sobbing at the sight of him being brought away. Just because that monster is an uncivilized piece of shit, it doesn’t mean we have to stoop to that level too. The point is that you cannot allow him to hit the defendant. It would create a dangerous precedent. It is not possible to create a judicial environment in which a judge can decide whether a victim's relative can hit the guilty offender. It is self justice, and, at least to me, my parents taught me never to employ it when there are remedies available. In this case the remedy is itself being in a court which is condemning the defendant.
