Awesome gameplay, I really like to watch these pro competitive matches Why are many ppl complaining about the commentary? Atleast these guys really know what they talking about, especially Rotterdam (the dutch guy) because he played alot competitive wc3 aswell. Apart from that, I can understand them both very good.

Rotterdam is a great caster. This other jackass isn't expereinced enough to be calling live plays. Throughout the set he constantly says things that are completely wrong, and you hear Rotterdam correcting him over and over. On top of that he repeats things rotterdam says, quite a lot in fact.

Usually only versus orc, because Talons an keep track of the Blade Master with their Fairy Fire, while disabling him with Cyclone. Also, Cyclone can be used to snipe individual units. Storm Crow form is also an amazing Anti-Air, if it's ever needed and it usually isn't.

@IronRain2011 that is actually a good question. One sees upgrades from time to time. But in this game there was no window of opportunity. The gold is needed to buy the scrolls/ pots/ items. Talons cannot be upgraded (cept master ofc) and vs cyclone the relative effectiveness of upgrades is taken away (because units are disabled in the air). Better to make more units to drain mana off of the talons by forcing them to use cyclone more ofton.

You can also find quick games on Azeroth, half the time it's under 30 seconds. The time it's not is usually 2-3 minutes, on the off-hour.

I suppose entangling roots would synergize well with this strategy, but I think the main reason for getting beastmaster is the hawks.

actually i think that while starcraft is more massive in terms of quantity of units its more macro intensive because of the size of the maps and the diversity of possible strategies. Warcraft needs more micros because of the relative high cost of units, low quantity of resources and max population.

Hero element is big in Warcraft 3, but never too dominate to the point where you only need a 30-40 food army. Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne is awesome game.

In Warcraft 3 every unit is super important , in starcraft it doesnt hurt that much if you loose 1 or 2 zealots. Warcraft 3's Micro is different ( im not saying its harder , but its different). Both games require Logical Thinking. In Starcraft it is all about macro, where in Wc3 you mostly expand way way later then you would in sc2. And you have to choose between creeping and harrasing. You cant really compare this 2 games like Sinthraxify talked about.

@Diversity212 Starcraft and Warcraft are 2 entire different games its not one beats the other. Starcraft is much faster than Warcraft and takes quick and skilled movements but Warcraft takes much more logical thinking. Its really just whichever RTS you prefer/are better at.

blizzard dont really care about that game anymore in kind of updates. So there are many hackers on the offical server. Free for All is like 100% maphacker. 4vs4 is the most popular but there are maphacker too but no so many its is just fun to play. if you wanna play warcraft 3 without hackers they is w3area private Server (with people that care about that game). They have even a widescreen patch. But mosty you will play againt pro player. If you not tryharding go with the offical servers. Blizzard have introduced a new team for the classic games like wc3. They working maybe on a new update. Maybe in some months we wont have this problem anymore.
