I've been looking forward to this match since we saw both of them crush their respective opponents in their first matches. This one did *not* disappoint. Every chase was just so *fast* compared to the other teams we've seen. Seth vs Frank was, quite honestly, astonishing to watch. Both of them moved so fast that surely no lesser mortal would've stood a chance (although Jason certainly did later on). Seth is so slippery through bars that they may as well not be there in most cases! Rob, of course, was phenomenal. First, he stopped Mark dead in his tracks, then created the first lead of the match for Apex, and then *extended* it to a *three* point lead. I didn't think anyone would be capable of three evasions in this particular match because of how good the chasers were, but he certainly proved me wrong! He just has a really good understanding of when to bolt off and when to stay put to force your chaser to slow down. Unfortunately, I have to say that I think Ashlee looks like a weakness. She conceded APKG's only evasion in their previous match, and despite nobody else coming close to Rob, she was the furthest and had the most obvious mistakes. She just doesn't look comfortable on the quad and can't move with the pace that the rest of APKG is moving. Great match, I can't wait to see more from both these teams!
@alexbevan21833 жыл бұрын
I agree with this entire comment and you have summed up the match pretty well! I think the problem with Ashlee is that she has had no prior quad experience! She was a wildcard and that wildcard unfortunately didn’t pay off this time. If she had more experience on the quad and was a little better at making snap decisions I reckon she would do great but in her current state she is slightly rough around the edges. She is still a great athlete though!
@sorin_markov3 жыл бұрын
@@alexbevan2183 There's only one person on each of these rosters that has quad experience, and that's Seth and Frank. I just think she didn't adapt well to this style of parkour. Yet, anyway.
@chiraggera31603 жыл бұрын
I totally agree, I felt the same for Ashley in the first match and this one confirmed that. We've had Sarin, someone not from Parkour background but still adapting very well to the quad, but Ashlee seems to be having problems here. Even if she could make the tag I don't think she'll be able to evade. Let's see how the third match plays out for them

Seth's been insane when it comes to tags, but Im hoping he steps up the evading a bit. Also, Ethan was deceptively fast. He kinda looked like he was moving slow, but was somehow a few steps ahead.

So true! It's like Ethan has a secret power, but we don't know exactly what that power is yet.

Seth and Jason seem to be speed chasers while Michael and the others seem to be reliable evaders. Seth and Jason have this cheetah like speed that works for chasing but it might not translate fully to evading

Everyone on Apex is a speedster man. Looks that speed and control. That insane 🤯

Speed is what Apex is best know for (and that high altitude Colorado air)

Man Apex looked really solid. But I'm putting money on APK Grey and Apex topping the group. The pace in this match was insane. Especially Seth and Frank. Two very talented chasers. Keen to see the match ups out of the group stages because these have been peak, no cap.

What a GAME!!! On Tuesday I was a bit sad not to see either Apex nor APK Grey. So when I got to watch this I was extremely hyped! :DD The excitement carried through the entire match, I would have thought Apex would win in a more convincing fashion :P I love Wenxin and Ethan from APK, Frank is looking phenomenal :D Apex is doing what they came for, yet it's great to see that they are not unbeatable. I'm a little disappointed by Seth's evasions but surely that will change. What an absolutely exciting and entertaining match :D

Once Seth nails his Evasion strategy, he's going to be insane!

@@WorldChaseTag I'd say he didn't want to fully show his evasion strategies/skills lol

I'd literally have to shit 75% of my bodyweight before I come anyway near Seth Wang's speed!

I can't wait for this to be a video game. Putting together dream teams, playing tournaments, creating characters. Maybe even some new courses.

Though it should definitely go through a smaller company. I'm horrified about what a bigger company like EA, Ubisoft, Blizzard, etc might do to damage the sport with its influence.
