Fernando has this weird thing I notice. He could be in a chase at like 100mph and then once he tag them I swear he instantly hits 0mph. Almost like he instantly conserves any energy from a post chase.

His chase and evasion were my favorite to watch from this match. He worked so hard to get both, unfortunate the rest of his team couldn't keep up and victory evaded them all. He's very impressive and low to the ground. It might be interesting seeing him and Luciano go head to head.

This was definitely one of the closest games so far. There were some great chasers in both teams for example fernando the velociraptor for ollo and Erik the attacker for tempest, Everyone seems to be getting tagged in that front left corner though

Yeah "the lazy boy" i think its called. Its deceptively low eq! If you get cornered there, juke and go left towards the front line you're screwed. Its so easy to tag. Seems like if you juke and go right there might be some chance as there is a small bar in the way for the Chaser

Noticed it a few times now but as good as the tilted cube is... people really overestimate how useful it is once the person chasing has jumped into the cube. Even a good fake won't stop someone from tagging you if you run past the open part of it. Seen a few times now and again in Erik's last attempt. Trying to use the cube, forgetting that nothing is protecting them on the right side once the chaser has entered the cube, leads to the evader getting tagged. Once they enter the cube, the only move is yeeting yourself left or faking right and going left. I don't blame them though, in the heat of the moment it seems like a good idea. But man I have not seen that work once yet.

I'm not sure how we'll do this moving forward. We may say that once you commit to a team, you cannot change team until the next year (i.e. you definitely can't change mid-tournament).

There's no sport that let's players join other teams mid-tournament. It ruins the competition imo. Teams should definitely be able to designate an injury alternate (listed at the beginning of the tourney) if a guy can't go in the next match tho.

We were set up for 5 days with 2 days of training & 2 days of comp. Eventually we'll go live, but it's significantly more expensive so we have to wait until more sponsors are involved.

Really perfect match. Interesting, is it possible to create a new composite material for the objects. Safe and soft and at the same time reliable and strong? Do it possibly protect athletes?

Gotta have money for stuff like that. As an athlete doesn’t feel too dangerous. It ain’t like I’m running full speed into another athlete that’s 300 pounds. Safety comes down to the skill of the athletes and having medics near by.

@@juliusporter5668 What you guys do is truly amazing and I'm always in awe at you controlled everyone is. However, we always looking out for ways to make the quad safer and will continue to do so but there is a balance between softness and stability, and oftentimes stability is more important than softness.
