Marc Mero did a great job with the Johnny B. Badd character.

That’s the reason why Vince McMahon brought him to WWF but then he realize that WCW still on the rights and that’s why he couldn’t use it

Right?? As soon as I saw his face in the thumbnail, I was like "Oh my God! Johnny B. Badd! I remember that dude!!"

Mero is one of those highly underrated wrestlers who never became world champions. I'd totally put that guy in the list along with Curt Hennig, Scott Hall and other legends. He had it all; physique, athletism, charisma. His one weakness was that he was just too nice of a guy and he let others, including Sable, walk over him.

Pillman had it all. He was a great baby face and his heel turn practically made me cry when I was 6. RIP to one of the most underrated.

@@OrbitalTrailsPillman died in his sleep due to a genetic heart condition (I think). He may or may not have taken drugs that night, but these were not the primary cause of his death.

Pre-Nitro WCW was pretty solid in terms of content. This great match was actually the norm back then. Lots of very talented performers were working for the company! I think it's an unsung era nowadays.

“Johnny don’t B. Badd, Johnny B. GAY!” - Brian “The Yellow Dog” Pillman After that comment, Jim Ross apologized on behalf of WCW, saying that Pillman’s comments are not reflective of WCW.

Hearing Jr and Tony Shivani on commentary together, it's crazy. It's like listening to raw and Nitro at the same time. During their peaks, of the Monday night wars.

Pillman was a great babyface, the crowd loved him. WCW could have pushed him more as a top guy.

1. It's almost like SEGA took an inspiration from this appearance of B Badd for Ash in SoRIII. 2. Dancing Teddy Long is just unsettling.

This is really funny, given that we know all about Marc Mero’s real life religious proclivities.

It's weird to even think how Mero would be considered a light-heavyweight even back in those days. I assume they were just reaching for smaller guys since just about every wrestler was a giant back then.

I just saw a clip recently where Mick Foley told a story about talking to someone he went to college with who knew Marc Mero from boxing. The guy was confused about Mero being Johnny B Badd because he told Mick, "But Marc Mero is a white guy." So some did believe he was black.
