The rants when selecting a wrestler were the best part of this game. Much like Nitro the game is trying to be arcade like but is even bad at that by having unintuitive controls it makes the Acclaim wrestling games that were out at the same time look like masterpieces in comparison and that take some doing. Visually it's not bad at all and the presentation is really great for the time but it has little redeeming qualities after that.

"WCW vs the World" was released before "Nitro" and "Thunder" and was so much enjoyable.

I never enjoyed this game as much as other wrestling games of the period. Wcw Mayhem was better imo as they slowed things down.

These games really dropped the ball. I never understood, why take a thing like wrestling and make a generic fighting game out of it. The N64 games had the formula as best as that era could get them.
