WD40 is half of a complete engineers toolkit, the other half being duct tape. If it moves and it shouldn't duct tape it, if it doesn't move and it should WD40 it.

My dad (27 years in the navy) always said all you need is a hammer and duct tape, if it moves and it shouldn't, duct tape, if it doesn't move and it should, hit it with a hammer a few times. I kinda like the WD-40 version better. No offense dad.

WD40 is an excellent product in many ways, but I sprayed my shotguns, with WD40 at end of season, and start of new season my shotguns had a fine rust coating on them. I asked a cycle mechanic friend about this and he confirmed that WD40 will rust metal.

I have used this incredible product as long as I can remember but we just bought a washer/dryer set from the Brick and they were floor samples, not one scratch was on them until delivery day and we thought they were packing tape strings,those tough tape for pro packing. the Brick wouldn't help us so I went to youtube to find out how to remove scratches from acrylic and your product came up and I just now made those scratches disappear and the door looks like new. I'm so glad nothing can come CLOSE to what you have produced and I hope nothing ever will!!

the built in straw one can be sprayed with the straw when its straight-out then you can se the spray without the straw for wide places when the straw is straight down.shake well so you can just barely spray so they all comeout

A preservative and treatment of oak hardwood flooring. I visited my sister a few weeks ago and she was spraying her oak hardwood flooring with WD-40 and I exclaimed rather loudly, "WTF are you doing".I assumed the WD-40 would eat through the varnish... but she said she had been using it for years on the hardwood flooring in her house and I was dumbstruck. If that is the case then the flooring looks amazing and the smell evaporated withing an hour. It might not be an official use.. but it works

If you have a real answer I'm extremely curious to know the answer. I use WD-40 first and then apply lubricants I think will work best, but I start with WD-40.Please, tell me your miraculous formula. Better penetrants? Gunk liquid wrench, pb blaster, kroil, and if you can find a place that will sell it to you, chemsearch yield is by far the best penetrant on the market. It's only sold for industrial and food plant use, and not available to the general public.

How come I can never get the entire can of wd40 to dispense the entire contents? This 3rd can I was using still has about a 3rd left. Can before had about 1/2 left when it quit dispensing. 1st can had about the same as the 1st. I will no longer be purchasing wd40. Their are better products such as PB Blaster Iv'e never had an issue with.
