16:30 there is no personification of the force, all we got under George Lucas before disney star wars, is that this entities are the so called immortal/long-live race or beings that can use force in a grander scales. Even in the books abeloth is explained as such. That she was even defeated by Luke Skywalker using the light side of the force.

If what you have been told is true about the "matriarchal" thing, I would suggest that you get Lorne to tell the fans and you about something from the early novels called the "White Current" and the Fallanassi. Basically, in the novels, it was the "proper" use of the power from the Fallanassi point of view, while the Force was the coersive, patriarchal use of the power. At that point in the novels, Padme didn't exist yet, so Luke and Leia's mother was an adept of the White Current, which is why they were so strong. And why Leia was not so good with the force. She was good with the White Current. And the Fallanassi were an all-female group which wookipedia descrbes as a coven like the night sisters. And the Fallanassi are now canon in the High Republic.

I also like the Mortis Arc from the clone wars but I can understand the confusion between "there needs to be a balance between light and dark" and "the dark side is a corruption of the light side" I think both concepts can be true, the dark side is a corruption of the light side but there will always be beings that will corrupt the light side and will turn to the dark side that's life thus why there needs to be a balance. The idea of the light side is finding one's own balance of staying good but understanding one's flaws and overcoming them while the dark side is someone who is either tempted or willing gives into their flaws or negative thoughts and feelings to the point of doing terrible things to those around them but the dark side isn't absolute those who were in the dark side can still see the light and overcome or even redeem themselves but have to be willing to( also probably face justice and imprisoned or maybe even executed for their crimes if the former sith returns to the light and survives ). Also I do like the concept of Force-fu but I think it can work as a like a lightsaber technique but you just use martial arts and different weapons even a lightsabers but maybe only uses a lightsaber when no other choice or a branch in the Jedi order that leans more into fist fighting rather than using a lightsaber but maybe the Force-fu was a ancient technique in the past that eventually was phased out or lost to time or died out for any number of reasons or maybe the Jedi just leaned more towards using the lightsaber and the lightsaber techniques over time.

I have watched the ebn Livestream and one more before this one. I have come to the conclusion that we are about to have another of our beloved characters reputations soiled once again! Luke, Leia, Hann and even Lando made to look terrible in the sequel trilogy!!! Now we get the force is actually female and Jedi grand Master Yoda lies to the Jedi council about the sith returning in order to keep the Jedi's reputation intact!!! A millennium=1000 years this is set 100 years before the phantom menace. Yoda dies at 900 years old do the math!!!!

The first two episodes were AMAZING and I would bet you that you're better off never watching another minute of what comes next. This was only the sweet tasty bait & the next episodes will involve the hook deeply puncturing the insides of your mouth. 4/10 is to high. even if the set design and sound is good, story outweighs it by a large margin. Better a show with a good story that looks bad than one that looks good but has bad story and characters. I haven't and will not watch. But from everything I have heard thus far a 1/10 is being generous.

My nephew and I were going to watch both episodes and stopped after the first because the only entertainment was our own commentary. So we could just play a game instead and joke around and have much more fun.
