Also, speaking of buffets, 1900 at Grand Floridian was great to us the other night. I ended up being an hour late for our already late reservation and they were closing down. They actually made us fresh food, and brought Cinderella and the sisters and Lady Tramaine back for my kids and they sat there during our entire dinner and kept the kids company since we were the only ones in there. Now the food didn't taste that great, but we didn't care. It was 11pm and I had a 2, 6, and 9 year olds with me who had been up since 7am and they kept them quiet while my husband and I got something in our stomachs.

I have never stayed at a Deluxe, but I really want to try this one now. I love the idea of walking to and from Epcot and all the wonderful food options available there. I need the room Kathy had so I can lay in bed and watch the fireworks from Illuminations too.

We have always had an excellent character interaction at Cape May Breakfast. On our last visit, Goofy sat down at our table and played a game of tic tac toe with my son. I am really enjoying this series!! Thanks for doing it!

I think I'm going to save a little extra this year and go to one of these deluxe hotels by Epcot. I think it will save a lot of hassle and time being that close to Epcot and being able to just jump on the monorail to Magic Kingdom. We stayed at Pop last week and felt like we were in a cheap motel and was so far away from everything. We walked over 70 miles in 6 days. I'm going to actually relax next year when we go!

We enjoyed the Beach Club for its location. We were there for Food and Wine, so the short walk to Epcot was great. Cape May was not bad, but not the best for the buffet in the morning. We found that we liked the Captain's Grill for breakfast. The buffet was not better than Cape May, but there are selections on the menu that are very good.

Your experience at Cape May was very different than mine. We had a terrible experience with Donald (Minnie and Goofy were great) and the food was so-so at best. And we had earlier reservations too. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. Beaches n' Cream is one of my favorites too.

Speaking of security, we were on the monorail when they stopped at the transportation center and police entered our "car" with a bomb sniffing dog. They checked each and every "car". Then found them (police, dogs) outside at MK before you could even get near regular security. Shame that is necessary and scary..

You mention that the pool area is restricted to guests by scanning their magic bands. Does this "Gated" area include Hurricane Hanna's, as I was hoping to visit this QS location on the way to Beach & Cream.

No, Hurricane Hannah's can be reached from the walkway that runs in front of the resort, so there's no need for pool access. That being said, it's not someplace you want to eat. The food is terrible.

I will be booking a trip from dreams unlimited great video. I want to stay at beach club for 3 days wilderness lodge 1 day and art of animation 3 days

This round was all deluxe resorts. The next round will have a mix of value, moderate and deluxe. These were the resorts we didn't cover in 2013.
