I have been to Artist Point Many times and have always had a great experience. In fact during our last trip there my wife notified the waiter that she is a vegetarian and if they had some different offerings he came back to the table with the chef who was awesome. he asked her what she liked and what kind of veggies she preferred and he made for her the most wonderful dinner. in addition they put it all on our regular meal plan. Great Job!!! we will be back.

Great podcast. Thanks. I've been to Whispering Canyon for both breakfast and dinner. Not being a "peppy" morning person, I appreciated the lower key. At night, however, it was great fun! Thanks for the thoughts on Concierge; it doesn't seem to be all that great a deal. My one dinner at Artists' Point was superb, but, not being a reviewer, my standards might be looser. They paid close attention to my dietary needs, and I loved the planked salmon. The restaurant was not busy when I was there, so that might have affected the service. The pool area had a family of armadillos hanging around when I stayed there.

Stayed at the concierge level our one and only time to try it was at the Wilderness and you guys are spot on about how unimpressive and uninformed they were. We asked the concierge face to face at their podium if the bar in the lobby served any food or if they thought we could get into the Artist Point for a last minute dinner and they told us flat out "No- there is no food in the bar" and "we don't know- just go up to the podium at the restaurant and ask"- no further help. So we went down to Artist Point and they gave us a buzzer to wait for a table, and when we went into the bar to wait, we were shocked to find a great array of appetizers available to eat in the bar! We took back the buzzer, ate in the bar and had a wonderful waitress and ended up having a great evening, but very disappointed in the concierge- they were absolutely no help at all and we felt no special treatment at all the whole visit. Not worth it at all.

Spot on for the Artist Pointe review. I travel to the Pacific North West regularly and the foods "inspiration" is at best tenuous. The only two items that were anything better than average was the berry cobbler and accompanying tea service.

Completely agree about Artist Point. I've always been disappointed. I live in the Seattle area and there are restaurants here that rival the best in WDW. I don't like the idea that this place represents NW food.

Craig Williams I saw the video of the Animal Kingdom Lodge sorry about me asking about it the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I saw it this morning I didn't know you already posted it. Anyway I love the Animal Kingdom Lodge it's one of my favorite and my dads too. He told me that when we stayed at the Beach Club we stayed there towards the end of January through the the beginning of February of this year. When we stayed there we had a savanna room with an accessible room with rollin shower because I'm disabled, overall if I went to Disney World again I would stay there. My dad and I are going to be moving down to Florida soon. We can take to hold much longer here in Ohio where I'm from.

Alright wilderness lodge DIS'ers.....native american/tribal music on the wilderness lodge bus (usually it puts you to sleep on the way back from a long bus ride at night from Studios) that can get annoying by day 3. Anyone know what/where/who composes it? what its called? need to find it and listen to it. Its a big ear wig right now!

I felt the review was too negative and not necessarily appropriate for families with small children. A lot of time was spent talking about the concierge room, which most people will not use. Moreover, I did not think this was very comprehensive, giving needed information to make an informed decision. 9000 hits for a Disney KZbin video is not a lot. If the quality of the reviews improve, I believe viewers will increase. Overall, I wanted to find this review useful, but was unable to do so.
