This is so crazy. I remember finding Charles’ videos in 2007-2008. I followed the vlogs for YEARS. I was 8-9 years old when I started watching, now I’m turning 24 on the 8th of January. Y’all have really been a huge part of my life. Thank you for pushing on and continuing to be a huge part of my life. Bless you and your family. These pups hit the jackpot of new family! They are so adorable and I believe Zoe, Marley and Diesel helped send these 2 sweet girls to you. I’m lost my first 2 dogs a year apart and that was 9 and 10 years ago but I still miss them and get sad sometimes just like I lost them yesterday. You can never replace your past pups. Some people need time to heal before moving on, but sometimes giving all that love to a new pup helps with the pain as well. I try to believe everything happens for a reason when it comes to these things. It doesn't take the sting away, it's one of the cruelest things in life, but it does help to remember that because of that tragedy and cruelty another dog will be blessed with your love. Okie and Penny are very lucky. Maybe you all can try fostering an older dog when they're settled.

Bawling my eyes out here. I lost my 14 year old best friend in june and i gained a new best friend in october. I miss my boy millions and the new pup doesnt replace him but he does help to heal my heart. He makes me laugh at his antics every day. Enjoy your 2 new mischievous best friends. In time will be less painful. We lost our darling girl who was like Diesel in black, three years ago. Now we don't cry anymore, just remembering her with joy and love, not with pain. She was such a goofball, just like Marley in 45 kg. I'm soooo happy for Remi that she will have a posibility to grow up with dogs. I LOVE IT! My daughters had a cat who was everything too them, a pillow, blanket and much more. And he never ever meowed. They was so gentle with him. Love from Slovenia.

This obviously was meant to be and I personally think getting them both so young is great so they can all grow up together with Remi. Allie, I totally get your pain. I lost my 12 year old chihuahua 4 months ago & I got a puppy about 3 weeks ago. I sobbed the first night he was home. I hoped I made the right decision and slowly but surely I’m learning I did. He’s helping me heal, but never replacing my girl.

I adopted my girl back in July, she’s a lab and mini pit bull. She had been there for nearly a year (the longest out of everybody) and I can’t understand why besides her breed and the unfair judgments based on the pit breed. She’s perfect and I love her sooo much! I love seeing Remi interact with them and how you all are reminded of Zoey, Marley, and Diesel! We adopted two puppies from our local shelter. Their mom was a rescue from a kill shelter in a neighboring state and heavily pregnant. When we heard her story we contacted our shelter and put our name in to adopt a male and female siblings. It’s challenging having two puppies at the same time but we absolutely love them and couldn’t imaging our lives without them. Banjo and Maggie are Corgi-GSD mix and turned 3 on New Years Eve 2022.

Haven't watched in a while, didn't know Diesel had passed. I'm so sorry to hear this, 😢 but, very happy you guys are able to give these pups a wonderful, loving home! I lost mine almost a yr ago(she'd been staying at my bf's place for the last couple yrs, due to barking complaints & I was going through chemo, plus, dealing w/ the side effects of cancer. I was still able to bring her to my place for a few days at a time, or visit whenever I wanted), life hasn't been the same since she passed! I've had dogs or cats my whole life, this is the longest period I've gone throughout my adult life, w/ no pet & it's been horrible! You never realize how much they just make every day better! Hoping I can afford to get a rescue soon!

They're not new dogs Allie, they're just more dogs. They aren't replacing Diesel, Zoey and Marley, don't feel guilty for that. When I adopted my dog I had to adopt her from Romania because the rescues here (UK) wouldn't re-home to us because my youngest was five at the time. Whichever way you look at it, you've essentially rescued four dogs... The two you have and the two who can now have their rescue space. ❤️

Allie as much as it stinks to hear ot, you can't save every dog, you do a great job trying. I was in the same guilt position between my two dogs, i felt guilty for replacing or betraying them, But youve gotta know that diesel Zoey and Marley sent these specific dogs to you guys, cause it's what will save you. Dogs are angels hiding on earth and if you see traits of diesel in this dog it's because diesel told that dog that he knows you love that certain thing, and he knows it'll brighten your day. You and rem and char are going to have such a wonderful bond with these new puppy friends, and while you're trying to save everyone else they're gonna save you cause that's the mission diesel Zoey and Marley gave them :)

This video made my heart melt, you guys are amazing to open up your home so soon to a couple of pups in need 🤗🐶🐶 I know it wasn't the intention for this to happen now, or to have puppies instead of a senior dog, but these things tend to happen for a reason. The happiness it's already bringing back into your home, the smile on Remi's face, little Penny being so attached to Charles, so heartwarming! 💞🐶🐶 A while after the loss of our previous dog, I also went to the shelter with the intention of getting a senior dog, but none were available, instead the lady brought out a puppy that had been abandoned in a box & so fate was decided! Fast forward our wonderful family dog Toto is about to enter his 13th year, he has his health problems but he's been the best dog for our family, supporting each one of us when needed. I totally understand the guilt of not adopting an older dog. Our last two rescued greyhounds were 8 and 6 years old when we adopted and after their losses we wanted to adopt another senior dog but our rescue group told us about Maple who is 2 years old and was needing a home. She isn’t a puppy but she has more energy than our other girls had. It’s been 7 months since we lost our last girl Myrtle but I know she would be so happy we have taken on another rescued greyhound that needed a home. Your new girls are so precious and I can’t wait to watch them grow 💗💗💗

When training the puppies to sit or to do anything, don’t keep repeating the command if they don’t do what you want them to do make the uh-oh noise where a few seconds and try again repeating the command is just going to confuse them. Also hand signals work really well with puppies, so for example, sit, take your palm and move it upright and say sit and like I said, if they don’t do it the first time, make the noise with a few seconds and try again by you, repeating it over and over and over. It’s going to confuse the puppy.

Allie, the Diesel pangs are going to get more rare, but never gone completely. My Tobias was a spitting image of Zoe, and was put down 4 years ago for age, and it still hits me sometimes. I feel your pain and mixed feelings. Not everyone can adopt an adult, though; puppies are best for a pre-started family; they can be trained.

We lost our male dog Leo in OCTOBER. I told my husband I want a new dog in 2023 but this time I want to adopt. So we will be doing this sometime soon. Most likely next month. I just want to honor my dog by adopting one who needs us. I think you and Char did great. I have been a fan since the beginning and it affected me a lot when Marley died then Zozo, then even Diesel. I have a shirt with Zoey and Marley on it. They are wearing glasses and it says "Nerds" on it. It is grey with pink letters. I retired the shirt and I plan to frame it to hang on my wall. It is one of my merch items from the channel. I love that shirt a lot. I am happy I got it cause it reminds me of them. I watched the vlogs everyday for so so so many years it became a part of my routine. So I was really excited with this video seeing new dog family members joining the pack. I know you miss Diesel a lot, it hurts but he is very happy that you rescued Okie and Penny.
