Nice shape on this bowl. Good for me to find a woodturner who uses gouges and not carbide tools.

I fully agree with Lyle's comment and would like to add that I've never seen a drill bit used as you did Tomislav. How did you put the drill bit in a handle as I want to try it myself? I have to say it's a real pleasure to watch you.

Thank you for lovely comment, I saw drill bit trick from Richard Raffan, there is a bit of learning curve with it beacuse if its to agresive it wants to self feed and you cant control it, and on entry if you start a hole there is a smooth part which bevel from drill bit can rest for easy entraaince..... I would recomend to watch Richard Raffan videos on KZbin for that, he explain it in few videos much better then I do..... Oooh and I put drill bit as sam as a gouge in handle, smack a handle few times and it goes in😀.... Hope I help a bit....

I use the same lathe and all those different sounds from your one remind me at when I am turning. Nice little machine, however mine has a somewhat broken speed control. It ramps up to 100% when spinning at higher speeds on the second and third speed. But I am mostly rough turning heavy bowls with it. Oak wood is leaving a nasty acid on the bed ways and turning them dark brown, but turns well. In your comments I read that Richard Raffan has a talented student. Are you actually his student or are they saying that because of you doing many things like him? I really enjoy your Videos! For how long have you been turning?

Thank you, it is a nice little lathe, maybe best one in that category..... Sorry to hear you have throuble with yours, hope you'll get it fixed..... I have been turning from high school, around 15years ago, mostly spindle work but in last 3,5years bought my own lathe and started to work on other things..... I consider Mr. Richard my mentor, although we are across the world apart he helped in beginnings with his books, later with his email guidence.... I do work quite similar to him beacuse that is how I was through in high school and later myself.....
