Sooo what brand or website should I buy generic protein from instead? Where’s the solution to the problem?

Thats what im wondering.

I researched reddit threads where people tried to source this but minimum orders were 1000kg etc, eeek. Unfortunately we are stuck slaves to the middle-men jacking up prices or taking a cut; supplement companies, real estate agents, used car salesman, mobile phone contracts, etc ☹☹

@@FitnessSheriff I went a different direction. I called up the Tx cattlemans association. They are getting me a list of all the dairy producers in the state. Ill call everyone of them to see what their offerings are. When i find something out ill let yall know.

@@FitnessSheriff Current market price for WPI 90 (90% whey isolate) is around $11 USD/lb FOB on an entire truckload (10,000kg+)... that's unflavoured, unsweetened, unpackaged, etc. When a manufacturer buys this - they then have to run it on a line - package - lab test - ship - and then clean/sterilize the line etc. It's a process that costs money. Very few brands are making a decent (10%) net profit in the protein space unless you're doing serious volume (30 mil+ a year min in revenue).

THE KIND VIDEOS WE NEEEEEEED!!!!

Love the first like 85% of the video, pushing supplements that are generics rebranded should be called out. Speaking solely for Mike and Jeff, I don’t think the content is the same situation. Mainly since it’s free content and usually at least entertaining I don’t see a huge issue. Yes they rebrand old content but that’s all content, everywhere. Anyway great video overall

Couldn't agree more
@FitnessSheriff2 күн бұрын
I agree to the content still being valuable, but if you watch my full audits, you can see how Jeff Nippard is on the same upload patterns as Athlean-X...ex: 16% and 7% total lower body videos! Solely because upper body shirtless thumbnails get more views. Surely the lower body content (biggest muscles in the body!) would be near 50% if it was truly about delivering free well-balanced content. If it's about copying the videos that get the most views to get more eyes on their programs and book orders...then things get a little sneaky behind the scenes. Mike is currently getting heat because despite all of the methods of training, studies and videos he puts out, his workouts are all the same when he gets a guest on..(and he gives us the 'tips on how to grow a bigger (insert muscle group) while being on drugs (openly, yes), but holding an image that we will chase but never attain. Experienced understand but beginners are just deer in the headlights. But yes, it's not 'fake' content, you can still learn something as you watch. Thanks for watching. Sorry for long reply. 💪💪

Awesome to hear. Let me know if there is a topic you have been curious about that might make a good educational video. I've coached 1000's of bodies in the real world and just see so much that doesn't add up on KZbin fitness that keeps beginners spinning in circles. My fitness audits cut a little harder than this video but it's factual (the content in last half of this video). I want to educate and make people more aware of what we see happening on KZbin vs what I know to be true with actual people lifting and working hard in the real world for years on end. 💪💪

Right this is useless to me unless I can get it in reasonable amounts to my door. This video honestly comes as no surprise to me. I wasn't under the impression that Nick is fuckin milking cows in his garage to make whey protein. And I've never heard him claim that. Companies in every industry source materials and repackage them in different ways. Shit, Costco does it. I enjoy the convenience of not having to buy a 25lb bag of whey that tastes like straight ass and then having to spend the time and effort flavoring it myself.

thank you brother for this video, i really appreciate it. listening to the fitness creators will give you nothing but frustration, your body will evolve simply by training, eating, rest and sleep thats it. there is no magic pills.
@FitnessSheriffКүн бұрын
Perfectly said! There are GOOD creators out there, when I make an audit and there is good to say, I'll mention it all along with the bad, but the bigger a channel gets typically you see them twisting to making the same content that gets them the views and unfortunately it ends up being repetitious or extremely narrow set. 💪💪

Tbh I work at a supplement store and anything that has the same chemical makeup is really going to be the same. There are SO many brands, some of them can actually be helpful, but what brand you choose really doesn’t matter.
@rens335020 сағат бұрын
If you want to buy unflavoured 25kg bags with an expiration date, sure..... you be you haha. Its called branding, almost all products are branded your razor, vacuum cleaner and yes also supplements. for the consumer, it is much easier to be able to buy smaller portions such as 500g, 1kg, 2kg, or 5kg jars/bags. I agree that some brands are pricing their products way to high, but for the brands that do care about their customers and want to provide a good product at a fair price, you can't have anything against it, can you?
@daveisacoolguyКүн бұрын
this seems well-intentioned but doesn't really provide a ton of value. Is the end goal to expose that bulk manufacturers don't sell product direct to customer? That model has existed for ages. Of course companies use the same bulk manufacturers - what people pay for with different brands/products is the taste and mixability provided by their own chosen added ingredients. BPN is expensive, but it definitely tastes better than optimum nutrition. Because it's more expensive, I don't buy it often. I've bought generics that stay clumped no matter how much you shake them. In regards to the videos, what exactly is the downside? A video that is essentially a review of information you may already know? New subscribers don't always go back and watch every video a creator has released. You know there are people starting their fitness journeys every day, right?

Grass fed whey protein powder, real or fake? Jeff Nipple had me convinced 1% more on the rep to failure, while making sure the concentric & eccentric motion while lifting, and lastly my legs are positioned parallel to each other, will improve, enhance, and demonstrate science based exercise 😵💫🤣🤣
